Disambiguation link notification for November 1 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kumar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sushil Kumar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Article request listed at Redirects for discussion edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Article request. Since you had some involvement with the Article request redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. John Vandenberg (chat) 14:31, 30 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please help me out vs. deletionist approach on a Thai stub edit

Hi there! I found your name among Active members of Wikipedia:WikiProject_Thailand. Could you help me out in defending the notability of M-150 (energy drink) as an admin is apparently unhappy with its notability despite the sources I have provided to try to save the article. Any Thai source you could provide would also really help and maybe induce some people to modify their deletionist editing bias. I quit Wikipedia for years as I was spending more time defending legitimate edits from rule extremists than contributing legitimate edits. I hope you can take a minute or two to help me out on this. Thanks!! Rdavout (talk) 19:28, 27 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Autoblog (website) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:19, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Some musicians, singers, actors, actresses, etc., are very famous or very notable in Thailand, but many English Wikipedians still say they are Not Notable (for enwiki)! .....I understand..... they are not world-famous, have no Hollywood works, have no English-language works, etc. -Love Krittaya (talk) 08:57, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Drop the Mic edit

Hi, I'm Insertcleverphrasehere. Love Krittaya, thanks for creating Drop the Mic!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Souring is borderline at best... needs more references to meet WP:GNG.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
