Hi, Lipshiz. I understand you're a new Wikipedian, only here since July, so first let me welcome you to WikiProject Comics, and secondly, I hope you'll let me speak with you about WikiProject Comics Manual of Style — in particular the section on fictional character histories.

Among many other style points there, it instructs us that: "In order to justify the fair use of copyrighted material, plot discussions must be concise summaries, not detailed abridgements that can serve as a substitute for the reading of the actual story. Summarising should never be on a per-issue basis and should only outline the plot rather than describe minor details."

Accordingly, I have trimmed the highly detailed 1,750-word, issue-by-issue synopsis at Jimmy Woo. You wrote it in good faith, and simply didn't realize there was a Project manual of style, which such long "fictographies" violate. Thanks, Lipshiz. Glad to help do some trims. The whole thing is not to relate any given issue's plots, but o simply note any change in the longterm status quo. We also write these "in-universe," meaning as if they are real history. Thus, it is "During an attack by the undersea kingdom Atlantis," rather than "During 'Atlantis Attacks' storyline." I know there are a lot of WikiProject Comics articles that fall below WPC standards, and we try to bring those up to standard rather than use them to a reason to fall below. See WP:OTHERSTUFF.

Xu Wenwu

About this, the "Xu" is omitted per WP:COMMONNAME. This is similar to Thor (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Loki (Marvel Cinematic Universe), where the surnames are omitted due to the most common name. IronManCap (talk) 19:03, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

Of the new characters, only Sister Dagger had an entry, but Jiang Li, Ten Rings (object) were added to the canon yet do not have entries, before the Ten Rings organization had been added, but unrelated to Mandarin, they emerged as enemies of Ironheart. Hyju (talk) 22:08, 25 April 2022 (UTC)

Ta-Lo

Gene Luen Yang has been using the spelling "Ta Lo" in comics: Shang-Chi Gets Another Family Member (Shang-Chi #7 Spoilers) Hyju (talk) 23:41, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

For consistency reasons, I would keep comics as Ta-Lo and MCU as Ta Lo, especially since this is about a hyphen. I think what we can do is in the Publication history, take note that when Yang incorporated Ta-Lo into Shang-Chi's backstory he used the spelling from the MCU and not the original way from Thor.Lipshiz (talk) 00:16, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

I added some things to the entry, I saw that in Chinese (Taiwan and Hong Kong), Ta Lo was called as Daluo, which was already one of the names of the place (Daluo Tian), I added the ideograms of the name.Hyju (talk) 09:58, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
