List of films set in the future

Perhaps the Star Wars films have not been on the list because the very first film released opens with "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...". Lucas' comments on the time setting tend towards describing it in the past or in some way outside of known time... I'd certainly describe the films as "futuristic", but that doesn't necessarily mean "in the future". What do you think? Cheers Robevans123 (talk) 14:07, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

Interesting, I'd say they're futuristic too. The Star Wars expanded universe spans about 30,000 to 200,000 years while the films cover about 100 years. Lightspeed2012 14:22, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

I would strongly suggest you read WP:BEFORE before renominating - You're expected to search for sources yourself before nominating any article,
