Ondarun

In addition to what I've said on Talk:Ondarun, I would suggest reading Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy. Editors are, in many cases, discouraged from editing articles about subjects that they are involved in. Wyatt Riot (talk) 07:20, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ondarun

edit

A tag has been placed on Ondarun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Wyatt Riot (talk) 08:03, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. Wyatt Riot (talk) 08:03, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ondarun

edit

A tag has been placed on Ondarun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Ondarun 2

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Ondarun 2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.   This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you use Wikipedia for advertising, as you did with Ondarun 2, you will be blocked from editing. Wyatt Riot (talk) 19:26, 9 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Seriously I don't understand... BI really start to think there is no way to get a page on wiki. I waited 6 months, Ondarun 2 got 25 000 registrations... If you are come from UK, I can understand, because there is no google indexation of Ondarun 2.... But search in US or in all the world, you'll see lot of article about Ondarun...

So, now ? I have to come back in 10 years ? Do bigpoint or other game pay to get their pages ? Why some games get directly their pages ?

Regards, Lascar33 (talk) 19:51, 9 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Again, I would strongly suggest that you read our notability guidelines, especially our guidelines for web content. Everyone in the world could play your game, but if no reliable, third-party sources write about it, then Wikipedia shouldn't have an article. And even if there are articles, our conflict of interest guidelines say that you shouldn't be the one to write the article. I hope this helps. Wyatt Riot (talk) 22:42, 9 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Conflict of Interest

Please, you have been warned again and again that you have a conflict of interest and that using Wikipedia to advertise your game is not acceptable. If you continue, the next step is our conflict of interest noticeboard which can result in your account being blocked. Please understand that if your games meet our notability requirements, it's best to let someone else write the articles. I hope you understand. Woodroar (talk) 21:05, 5 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I understand your point, but this new article is not at about making advert.. I nearly not talk about the game content. I just talk about the game history..
I'll take a look about the video game notability and get back to you :)--Lascar33 (talk) 11:30, 6 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

Your draft article, Draft:Ondarun

edit

Hello Lascar33. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Ondarun".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Ondarun}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. TKK! bark with me! 20:19, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
