• Hi. The draft was created with out the submission template at the top. I've added it, so when you are ready you can click the button on it to submit the draft for review. However, if you did submit it and I were reviewing it, I would decline it. You have relied on a single source [1] which lists him as a player; basically a directory entry. This doesn't help to establish notability. You should see WP:NBASKETBALL. As is, there is nothing in the article which suggests this player meets those criteria. Further, there's no citations to reliable sources to support this player passing WP:GNG notability requirements. Please develop the article using reliable, secondary sources. If no such sources exist, this player simply isn't notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Not every player is notable. --Hammersoft (talk) 23:42, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

Hello Aseleste! You were very fast to decline this article! I don't agree with your decision - this player was a part of a National team of Serbia on an European level of competition. Also, this is the 3th season of paying in the First league of Serbia.

Draft:Ranko Kumović and your images on Commons

I've declined the draft submission, as this player is not yet notable per WP:NBASKETBALL or WP:GNG based on the provided sources. This cite you provided is the only one that begins to establish notability. The rest of the citations are simply directory entries, as I previously noted. One citation about some upcoming youth is no sufficient to establish notability per WP:NBASKETBALL.

Also, I noted on your talk page on Commons that so far all the images you have uploaded to Commons have been copyright violations. Commons takes copyright very seriously. See the note on your talk page on Commons for more information. --Hammersoft (talk) 13:58, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

• Wikipedia is, and never will be, perfect. Looking at those articles, they probably should be deleted for the same reasons this draft hasn't been accepted. You should also be aware of Wikipedia:Other stuff exists; simply because something similar exists elsewhere on the project doesn't provided an argument as to why something needs to exist. I'm sure you can see the logical order of this; if a person creates a bad article, and lots of other people say other bad articles should not be deleted because that bad article exists too, the project would be overwhelmed with bad content. This is why we have the notability standards at WP:NBASKETBALL and WP:GNG. --Hammersoft (talk) 14:47, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

• Sorry, call me a curmudgeon, but I'm not going to approve an article for someone just because it's their birthday :) With all respect to Serbia, a Serbian national U18 team isn't significant from a notability stand point. There are zillions of upcoming potential basketball stars in the world, many of whom get selected for this or that significant young person's team. Almost all of them are not notable. There are a few, very rare, exceptions. I see no evidence to suggest this player could be one of those exceptions. --Hammersoft (talk) 15:11, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
