Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Clemson Tigers football statistical leaders, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Trevor Lawrence. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:31, 25 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Chris Shula

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chris Shula requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Johnny Juzang appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 00:37, 4 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm GPL93. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Jordan Hawkins, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! GPL93 (talk) 04:02, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Ąžuolas Tubelis. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  —Bagumba (talk) 07:55, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

This is not a sockpuppet account. This is an alternate account that is being used to purely edit sports transactions and to update American political organizations. I realize there are times that a transaction breaks and I jump the gun too early but this is no reason to block me due to these instances. The block you just put on me for 48 hours is a reasonable block, but to permanently block me from editing Wikipedia ever again in the future is a step too far and for that reason, I am appealing this decision.

Decline reason:

You are accused of being Elirbosley. That account was blocked in 2018. Blocks apply to the person, not just the account. Until that account is successfully unblocked, you personally are not permitted to edit here. Yamla (talk) 20:13, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Declined requests

edit

You are not permitted to do this. You must not edit (or remove) declined unblock requests for your currently active block. You are free to make a new unblock request but keep in mind, nobody will consider lifting the block while your original account remains blocked. --Yamla (talk) 20:29, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I understand. I am ashamed of what I did in my past and I am, in no way, fleeing from the fact that what I did was unacceptable. However, I have had 5 years to think about what I did and why the measures that were taken occurred. I am actively trying to become a better Wikipedia editor and to put my past behind me because I believe very heavily in second chances. I love editing Wikipedia, particularly when it comes to sports and politics, and I am truly sorry to the entire administration and to the Wikipedia community for any and all trauma and pain I caused back in 2018. I know what I did was wrong and I have gotten older. My life has changed in many ways from back 5 years ago and I have tried to become a better citizen and a better person. If there is a way to get my original account unbanned, I am fully committed to trying to reach that common goal. If not, I understand the consequences of my actions and I guess I will have to fully live with the effects. But, Wikipedia is a big part of my life and I love getting up every day to edit and share new news on this website. I have been doing this for a long time and I do not want it to end right now because of my immaturity when I was at a younger age. I hope this forum can be forgiving and that in the future, should the administrators ever fully accept my apology, we can work together to construct a more creative Wikipedia for the future. I promise to become a better editor and that if my appeal is denied, I am willing to accept the consequences even though it would devastating to me. I wish whoever reads this and makes the decision the best of luck in their future endeavours, in the event that this be the last time I am allowed to edit on this website. Once again, I am truly sorry for the way I was back then. I have changed and I am very, very aware of the damage I caused and how I single-handedly tarnished my reputation on the editors' circle. Hope that everything will go well for you and God bless you. Eli

Decline reason:

You need to return to your original account and request unblock while logged in to it. You aren't likely to be successful, though, before six months without edits under any account or IP address, per the standard offer as a way to begin to rebuild trust. A second chance is possible, but you'll need to get there first. 331dot (talk) 05:48, 22 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
