Hello! I noticed that you moved the article in your sandbox to mainspace with an improper title (the title had "/sandbox" in it which I assume you don't mean to have), so the move has been undone now. If you feel that the article is ready, please submit it through the articles for creation channel. All you have to do is add the code {{subst:submit}} to the top of the page you want to submit. This way, the article will be put up in a wait list and a reviewer will check if the article meets Wikipedia's requirements. Before you submit, I suggest reading through this essay: "your first article". The article you created in your sandbox currently does not have any references and so, to establish notability of the subject and to make verifying the information easier, references will need to be added. This along with more information on how Wikipedia works is mentioned in the essay I just linked. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them at the Teahouse or at my talk page. Speedy deletion nomination of User:Kilimanoormadhu/sandbox

edit

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Kilimanoormadhu/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. Please add your messages to the bottom of the talk page, or they may be overlooked. User pages are for you to write about your activities on Wikipedia, and are not for self-promotion. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines for authors. It is now Wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references, as defined in the link, or they will be deleted. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to you or your organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what you claim or interviewing you. You gave two references, but one is clearly self-written and the other is a YouTube link, so neither is acceptable here. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls. Your text was completely lacking in independent third-party in-line sources.
  • In the absence of verifiable facts, it's not clear how you meet the notability criteria linked above.
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: one of the famous and senior poets... his nostalgia to his birth place is truly reflected... world renowned artist... link to the erstwhile royal family... he was well known as a poet— and so on, shameless self-promotion
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. That's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to affiliated sites.
  • You have an obvious conflict of interest when writing about yourself. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that you are notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also guidance for editors with conflicts of interest and writing about yourself.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:40, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
