partition of Belgium edit

Hi Karna.

As an orphan the article does not have other articles link to it. This means that even though it links to many other important pages, no other pages (except one) link to it. In practice, this means your article, though well written, will not be read. You should add links to your article from pages from which it is appropriate.

On an unrelated note, if you're a Belgian (either Flemish or Walloon), I might need your help in creating some Belgium articles I'm planning to do. Let me know. -Oreo Priest 01:41, 3 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

One thing I'd like to know is what languages you speak. Instead of responding to me, consider adding a Babel Box to your profile, as it will be helpful for everyone.-Oreo Priest 10:55, 3 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

request for assistance edit

Hi - pardon me, but I have made an error in creating an article, Freedmen's Savings Bank. The actual name is "Freedman's Savings Bank" - is it a problem? Is it possible to remedy this problem. Thanks, K a r n a 22:36, 2 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes. I have moved the article to the correct title. --EncycloPetey 02:34, 3 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

None was taken (actually, I was responding to GeeJo's "nobody gives a damn" line, not your initial comment. But thanks for apologizing ... always better to do that when you don't have to than not do it when you should. Daniel Case 14:26, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your VandalProof Application edit

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, K a r n a. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 14:35, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for May 4 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jains (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
