The World and Other Places edit

If you would like the article kept, please start it with "The World and Other Places is...", so that people know what it's supposed to be about. We can't tell if you don't tell us. NickelShoe (Talk) 04:37, 20 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

alert edit

Ditto. Its 6 months since the previous note, and the article will not be kept unless you help. Not being the author, I have removed the deletion tag, but I alert you that it will surely be proposed again for deletion unless it is very quickly given some substantial documentation. What would help most is two reviews of the book in third party sources, preferably well-known ones. web or print is ok, but not just a blog.,DGG 23:54, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
