Ara Haroutyunyan

edit

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ara Haroutyunyan, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.nkr.am/en/nkr-primeminister/143/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Ara Haroutyunyan

edit

Hello Jnicholson2012,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Ara Haroutyunyan, may be copied from http://www.nkr.am/en/nkr-primeminister/143/. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 07:38, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ara Haroutyunyan

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ara Haroutyunyan, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

  • It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Final Warning

edit

Please stop creating new articles. First, I believe that most of them are copyright violations. Second, in some cases, you're creating articles that already exist: Ara Haroutyunyan already has a page under his full name, Arayik Harutyunyan. Third, the format of the articles is not correct per Wikipedia standards: we don't just make a list of things a person has done.

Your work in improving other articles has been helpful (although I'm hoping that none of that was copied and pasted from other websites). I recommend that you continue this until you better understand how Wikipedia works. If you need help, feel free to ask here or try at the Teahouse, which is linked above. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for creating malformatted articles on living people without sufficient references. I believe that these articles are probably copyright violations, given their formatting and similiarity to ones I verified were copyright vios. Furthermore, you've already been told that you can never remove speedy deletion templates from articles you create. Please, respond to these concerns. If you just wait out the block and then resume the same behavior, you're going to be reblocked for longer. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Qwyrxian (talk) 09:47, 10 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Arsen Mikayelyan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This is your only warning; if you create an inappropriate page again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have repeatedly created many articles on living people - however, you have not provided any reliable sources, to verify the content in each article. Your articles have been proposed to be deleted, until you are able to provide reliable sources (newspaper articles etc.) - not primary sources - and cite them in. Please fix up the article's you have just created, before creating any other articles. Thank you,MelbourneStartalk 11:39, 27 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing again, this time for two weeks, for continuing to create the same kind of unsuitable articles as led to the last block. If you continue in the same way, you are likely eventually to be blocked indefinitely. During the block, please spend some time finding out what acceptable Wikipedia articles are like, so that you can do better after the block than you have so far.
