Welcome!

edit

Hello, Jjrbs, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Alex Borstein have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  5 albert square (talk) 05:38, 2 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hernán Cortés

edit

I reverted your changes to Hernán Cortés. What's your source for November 11? The books I have don't know a specific birth date. And his nationality at the time was Castilian - the merger of nations had not taken place. Tarl N. (discuss) 22:21, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sources in articles

edit

Please note that I have reverted your edits to Priscilla Taylor as you added information to the article that is not supported by reliably sourced content. Reliable sources include independent sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy (tertiary websites such as movie and celebrity databases do not meet the criteria). For the specific guidelines and instructions related to biography infoboxes, please see Template:Infobox person. For the sourcing requirements regarding birth dates, please see WP:DOB. Thank you,--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:23, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Lance Reddick ‎. You were blocked, and now you're immediately restoring all the edits that got you blocked in the first place. Please stop. Tarl N. (discuss) 00:56, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Erin Kellyman, you may be blocked from editing.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without leaving a reasonable explanation in the edit summary, as you did at Erin Kellyman. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:03, 15 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tim Miller (director), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fort Washington (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:31, 28 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Rubbish computer. An edit you recently made to Maggie Civantos seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. ArbCom 2019 election voter message

edit
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:23, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
