Hello, Introspecta. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions! I'm This lousy T-shirt, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

Some common sense Do's and Don'ts:
    Do be bold
    Do assume good faith
    Do be civil
    Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
    Don't spam
    Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest

If you need further help, you can:
    Ask a question
or you can:
    Get help at the Teahouse
or even:
Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page, and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
    Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
    Help contribute to articles

    Perform maintenance tasks
Become a member of a project that interests you
    Help design new templates

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Sincerely, — This lousy T-shirt — (talk) 19:35, 2 April 2014 (UTC)   (Leave me a message)Reply

Knifer (musical) edit

I know you have put a lot of effort into this article, but I don't think it cuts the mustard in terms of notability. Please don't be discouraged from editing, you have a to offer the Wikipedia project. Flat Out let's discuss it 12:15, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I said in the Talk section why I think it's notable. Steven Moffat is a Very Important Person in the world of British television, and I think people would be interested to know that he wrote and directed a (very good) musical. The world should know about it. Maybe even make it into a film, since film musicals are back in fashion. How can I convince everyone that it has cut the mustard? In my mind, the mustard is cut! Introspecta (talk) 16:21, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
On Wikipedia, that isn't what notability means. Please read WP:42 and for this article WP:GNG
I've just had a look at the page, and all my references have been deleted. Why would that be? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Introspecta (talkcontribs) 12:28, 10 April 2014‎ (UTC)Reply
The program that you have is not an independent source, nor can it be verified by other users. Flat Out let's discuss it 12:37, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
Would it be allowed to have a section, or, at least, more information, within Steven Moffat's existing page? Introspecta (talk) 16:21, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

April 2014 edit

Hi again! When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Flat Out let's discuss it 23:02, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I try to, but I sometimes forget. It would be good if it was automatic. Introspecta (talk) 23:40, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
In the long term there is a suggestion of the Wikimedia software automatically signing all contributions to talk pages (see Wikipedia:Flow), but in the meantime if you forget you can get SineBot to do it for you by using the process described at Wikipedia:Signatures#Automatic adding of signatures. --David Biddulph (talk) 03:22, 11 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
