File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mayur (talkEmail) 15:37, 14 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

SpongeBob's Surf & Skate Roadtrip

edit

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of SpongeBob's Surf & Skate Roadtrip, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.kinectaku.com/games/360/spongebobs_surf_and_skate_roadtrip.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) MadmanBot (talk) 22:12, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Removing Speedy at SpongeBob's Surf & Skate Roadtrip

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for taking the time to contribute.

I'm a bot designed by another Wikipedia editor, and I'm here to help you with our deletion process. I noticed that while working on an article recently, you removed a speedy deletion template that tagged it for deletion. Don't get discouraged! Deletion discussions happen on Wikipedia all the time.

If you don't want the article to get deleted, please click here.

The link will take you to the talk page, where you can explain why the article should be kept. If you have any questions about this or need help with editing, you can ask at the Help desk.

We really hope you'll stick around to help make Wikipedia better! Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 22:16, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with SpongeBob's Surf & Skate Roadtrip. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 22:32, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at SpongeBob's Surf & Skate Roadtrip, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 22:33, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reported to AIV

Hi Igor1383, this is a notice to let you know that I have reported your removal of speedy deletion templates at SpongeBob's Surf & Skate Roadtrip to administrators. An administrator should assess the report in a short while, and they will take any appropriate actions. Please wait for an administrator before taking any further actions yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 22:35, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

A personal message

Hi Igor, I understand that having your new article tagged for speedy deletion is stressful, but lying about copying the text from another website is not a good way to go about it. The original text of the article was copied from the official product description (see this Google search of the original text that you added). I have deleted the article, but feel free to re-create it with text in YOUR OWN WORDS. Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions. -RunningOnBrains(talk) 22:55, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blocked

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Blocked for sockpuppetry

Unblock request

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Dear Administrators, on the behalf for all the things that happened, I’d like to say that I have regrettably broken the rules and policies on Wikipedia which resulted in my account getting blocked for sockpuppetry. I joined Wikipedia and moved on to a different account due to interests of having different usernames. I wasn’t fully aware of name changing ability at that time. After getting blocked for my wrong-doing behaviors, I applied for appeals that didn’t work out and was given the advice to contact specific administrators. I ended up being confused and thought of just creating another account just to start fresh and contribute to the community through good means by following the procedures. I was blocked again and had all my edits reverted due to having past accounts that I, unfortunately, broke the rules. My current goal is to provide the Wikipedia with creating and improving articles for others to see that this encyclopedia needs. I have no intentions for purposefully vandalize nor continuing violating the same rules that I’ve done before. May I please request for some kind of appeal that will suit all the needs for Wikipedia?

Decline reason:

You were caught abusively evading your block just yesterday. Clearly there's no grounds for an unblock here. Your best bet is to go at least six months without any further editing, then apply under WP:SO. However, any further violations will likely result in your ban under WP:3X. Yamla (talk) 19:23, 8 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I’d like to be unblocked on Wikipedia. I’ve broken the rules and suffered serious consequences. I started making and creating new articles for good intentions but I was just gullible enough to not completely follow the rules and guidelines. I made an appeal before, but was told by the administrators to wait for 6 months and try again. I feel awful and just want to continue my efforts and work as I did before I was blocked. I like Wikipedia and the way it was made for so can I please be given another chance or anything that I can get my rights back?

Accept reason:

Unblocked per WP:SO — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:59, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Checkuser needed - as this is a CU block, at the very least a CU will have to confirm that there has been no obvious recent socking. GoldenRing (talk) 14:11, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

(not a CU, just lowly clerk) 27 days more than the SO requirement (just trivia) and if there's no socking, I would say they should be unblocked, put on probation on the basis of no block evasion and WP:HERE behaviour. --qedk (t c) 15:49, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
There is no obvious socking here, so from a CU standpoint no objections, however, Bbb23 should be consulted as he is the blocking admin. I have no opinion either way as to if it should be lifted. TonyBallioni (talk) 18:25, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Bbb23 was pinged 16 days ago and has not responded. I intend to unblock this account shortly. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 20:00, 19 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
