Hi - this looks like a draft article - I think you might have created it in article space by mistake? Assuming so, could you copy the text into your draft space so we can delete it from article space until it's ready? Cheers GirthSummit (blether) 16:35, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Update - I see another reviewer has already nominated it for speedy deletion - if you want to keep the text, you should copy and paste it somewhere else (although once it's deleted you can get it back by asking an admin - see WP:REFUND) GirthSummit (blether) 16:39, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Oops - sorry. Yes, it was a mistake. I'm not sure how it happened. Perhaps the use of the 'move' tool I used. Hopefully it's a lesson learned.IdRatherBeAtTheBeach (talk) 05:37, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
No worries, no harm done - give me a shout on my talk page if you want any tips on creating an article in Draft space. Cheers GirthSummit (blether) 10:38, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks - I appreciate your kind words, and I'll be sure to check-in with you when I have more questions. I did figure-out the right way to create user pages last night. So I will carry on until I make my next blunder. I'm finding the wiki learning-curve to be quite steep, but things are surprisingly simple and straightforward once I've done it the initial time. It took me 20+ minutes to figure-out how to add a picture to a page the first-time, and 2-minutes the second time I added a picture to a page.

Wikipedia article idea: controversy on the 60-Minutes segment - How Tech Women left on the cutting room floor edit

I ran across this controversy on how a 60-minutes segment on women in tech dropped coverage of a lot of organizations working on this when I was looking for sources for some of the founders of organizations that are working to increase participation of minority girls in STEM. It hasn't been easy to get RS on them. This kind of editorial decision by RS may explain why it's so hard for me to find references for the women who are organizers of the many organizations working on diversity and closing the gender gap in technology. It might be nice to have an article on Wikipedia on this. Here are some links: WomenYouShouldKnow.net Medium.com Forbs.com Quartz.com Buzzfeed.com - IdRatherBeAtTheBeach (talk) 15:03, 7 May 2019 (UTC); Updated with links to RS - IdRatherBeAtTheBeach (talk) 05:36, 8 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.

We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.

Proposed Women in Green Editathon edit

Hello IdRatherBeAtTheBeach -- With the goal of helping to progress the WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) women’s rights-themed GA nomination goal for 2021, I’m proposing that WiG hold a special editathon event in the fall (maybe October/November?). I can assist with logistics, but I need to know how much interest/support there might be from WiG participants first. Please let me know what you think in the talk page conversation! All the best, Alanna the Brave (talk) 02:01, 20 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
