Deletion nominations edit

When you nominate a page for deletion as you did on Hgkf you should notify the page's creator on their talk page. The big pink box on Hgkf tells you what to do. Cabayi (talk) 18:14, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: Wang Tifu edit

Hello Iamzine13. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Wang Tifu, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: per talk page, this is obviously a work in progress as part of a student assignment. Thank you. SoWhy 13:09, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I got that later Thank you for the update <3 but also one query by removing speedy deletion tag can we withdraw deletion? Eg. nominated an article for deletion and then I wish to withdraw it how DO I do it? by just deleting the template or is there any request to make? -- MrZINE 13:53, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

DK Films moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, DK Films, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. GSS (talk|c|em) 14:16, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

@GSS: I understand the Notability Considering that I've created that Article And wrote only that information which verifies sources I have cited. other than that there is no promotional or personal information is given which needs to be cited I understand. but you have moved it to Draftspace I'll take it as lesson. -- MrZINE 14:39, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Alexander MacDonald (artist) edit

Dear Iamzine13. I take exception to your moving my recently created article on Alexander MacDonald (artist) to the draftspace because, in your opinion, it "does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published". I cited THREE sources of the utmost reliability: the Bodleian Library, one of the foremost research libraries in the world, the Royal Academy of Art, the UK's foremost association of artists, and the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, a highly esteemed training facility of the University of Oxford. How can you possibly claim there are not enough reliable sources quoted?

Hi @Gerbis:, I understand your frustration that I moved your article to Draftspace, I did that because it doesn't have enough sources to stand alone, all the sources you have give nare either where he has worked or taught, sources need to be from publishers independent and about the subject itself. please see Five Pillars of Wikipedia I'm nominating the article for Article for deletion before that I'll discuss on it's talk page by mention some experienced editors.-- MrZINE | talk 22:09, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Dear Iamzine13. You are absolutely wrong about your assessment of reliability. MacDonald was never employed by neither the Royal Academy nor the Bodleian Library, he was of course employed by the Ruskin School. But in any case, all the information given by any of the institutions was in the interest of historical research (in the case of the Ruskin School into their own history), not in an attempt of glorifying or advertising anything or anyone. My Wikipedia article on MacDonald contains purely biographical data without any judgement whatsoever based on objective information provided by independent researchers. I am recurring to primary sources not to a snappy essay in Hello Magazine.

Now, I don’t give a hoot about MacDonald, whether or not he is honoured with a Wikipedia article or not. I came across him doing other research and judge him noteworthy enough to warrant such an article, and that’s why I wrote it.

What I do certainly not like is being lectured by a new Wikipedia editor who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. If I read your talk page correctly, you literally only started Wikipedia editing a few days ago. I suggest you stop being over-zealous and start understanding first what the term “reliable source” actually means, rather than making people angry and wasting their time.

Gerbis (talk) 23:12, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Gerbis: I know I have recently started editing but I'm only doing what I understand I'm surely not lecturing you, I Assume you're much experienced than me on Wikipedia & In Life (according to your user page) & I respect that. I Apologise If I offend you in any manner. MrZINE | talk 23:23, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Dear Iamzine13. Thank you for your apology. I understand that you are trying to do your best, but please be more careful and re-check your decision before you throw out a complaint by just repeating yourself. Good luck with future editing. Gerbis (talk) 00:27, 1 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of CricTracker edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on CricTracker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Breaking sticks (talk) 22:51, 2 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Article is yet to develop, how could you submit a article in A7 ? which is created like 10 mins before / ? MrZINE | talk 22:52, 2 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with CricTracker. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Breaking sticks (talk) 23:22, 2 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

I know that I should not be removed the A7 from an article, but you nominated an article which was not even edited or reviewed. what about that? MrZINE | talk 23:29, 2 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Removing this because the "page patrollers" had not looked at this article and reviewed it is not a good idea. Please do not remove it again. Request reason:

Hello @Bbb23: I don't understand what Extreme I did you deleted all the edits I've been contributing in Wikipedia since more than month, towards reviewing new articles, removing vandalism, I did not abuse anyone, if you mean abuse by removing speedy deletion template that I did and I guess that was my mistake I apologize for that. please unblock It won't happen again. I'm really enjoying the editing on Wikipedia, I've been spending most of my time on Wikipedia researching and reading about Wikipedia editing MrZINE | talk 00:00, 3 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello Admins, I've been blocked for reason sockpuppet of User:Abhishek4889 which I'm not, well I Do have another account which is also marked as a sockpuppet of User:Abbasizaibi Reason why DO I have these two accounts is below. I created my first account on Wikipedia here it is: User:Akshayzine13 this was my first account which did not create to edit Wikipedia. after few months for some reason I tried editing Wikipedia back in 2016, it worked so I started editing and it was going good, I did create some articles for celebrities & movies. later on a random day, I blocked for being a sockpuppet of User:Abbasizaibi which I was never. with my previous account, I did not do many edits and I wasn't active though I did not know the policies also so never appealed for unblocking for that account. This is the second account I recreated in January 2019 just to edit on Wikipedia intentionally, I was once got again blocked for Promotional username which was also not intentional but I changed it by requesting it. being honest I love editing Wikipedia please give me another chance and unblock my this current account. and I will not do abuse in terms of reverting edits of other Wikipedians which I did on another article that's the reason I believe I have been blocked. Mentioning some I admins I have ever interacted with. @Richwales: @Sir Sputnik: @SoWhy: @Doc James: and some experienced user I have interacted with I have done only good work on Wikipedia: @DBigXray: @GSS: @Espresso Addict: @CASSIOPEIA: here is a request to unblock my account which is certainly for wrong reason I have never created an account with another name other than mine. I'm from Mumbai and been in Bangalore for a week maybe that's the reason I've probably suspected as a sockpuppet of 7-year-old account, that time did not even know that is there any feature on Wikipedia to edit. Pages I contributed on Wikipedia are under wiki projects only. no promotional content has been added by me. Geography, Surnames Terrorism these are the topics I have created articles. MrZINE

Decline reason:

Clear violation of WP:SOCK and WP:EVADE on this account. You are not eligible for unblock consideration here. Go make the request on your original account. Given your clear violations here, you aren't realistically eligible for unblock consideration there, either. None of your edits here were good, all of them were in violation of WP:SOCK and WP:EVADE. • (responding to ping) I have nothing to add here, Blocking admin must have evidence of wrongdoing. Please follow the "Appeal process" and address the concerns of the blocking admin. I have no comments to add anything for / against the issue of sockpuppetry. please do not ping me. regards. --DBigXray 10:57, 3 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
