Re: Protection of Dylan's Couch edit

Long story short, I have no idea why the original protection was applied, I merely deprecated the old hack we used to use for create protection with the newly-implemented version. As the article never went through a formal deletion discussion, I have no problem lifting the create protection. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 19:17, 1 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Dylan's Couch edit

A tag has been placed on Dylan's Couch requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Mayalld (talk) 13:50, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Dylan's Couch edit

I have nominated Dylan's Couch, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dylan's Couch. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Mayalld (talk) 15:50, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

for the star. Do you know of any news sources that cover the program? I want to flesh out the article a little but so far have been unable to find them. Feel free to ask me any questions you have as you learn more about Wikipedia TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 16:33, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

That cover Dylan's Couch. I see the press releases but I wondered whether there was any reliable source coverage of the show itself or cinemafreak's work on it. FYI, I'll be offline this weekend if you're looking for help but others will be online if you ask at editor assistance or the help desk. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 16:55, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes I'm sure. In all of them. The other users are not active one has disappeared and the other is dormant. Chubbennaitor 08:30, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The simplest way and the only way I know is to type in the page name after your username like "user:your name/page name" this is how you create a page as well. Clear all the answers and just put in the ones you have done. Yes you do but it has to have a reason and you need to have references and enough information for it to be an article. Have you joined a WikiProject yet? Chubbennaitor 16:30, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
