Hello, Historian128, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Sejarawan128 (talk · contribs). Infobox bloat

edit

Please do not add every minor participant or detail to infoboxes. If you put the Arab League in, you might as well start listing every country in the world that remotely supported Indonesia by voting in the UN.

You are also literally citing a personal blog site. Refer to WP:RS. Juxlos (talk) 17:46, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Herwig Zahorka. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 05:41, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edit on the page Wehrmacht added material which is not related to the subject of the article. Please do not do this as such edits are not constructive. If you like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. Skjoldbro (talk) 08:24, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Herwig Zahorka. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you.   Hello Historian128! Your additions to Herwig Zahorka have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:00, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Muslims, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 07:10, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

April 2024

edit

Hi Historian128! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Indonesia–Israel relations that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. NebY (talk) 20:07, 28 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

I do not edit or change articles on the page but delete articles that are no longer relevant on the page, Thank you for your attention, I appreciate it Historian128 (talk) 10:50, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
You deleted this text as well as its supporting reference:
According to a 2017 BBC World Service Poll, 64% of Indonesians viewed Israel's influence negatively, compared to only 9% expressing a positive view.
That changed the meaning of our article and was not a minor edit. NebY (talk) 11:25, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, in my opinion the revision is outdated and the Indonesian people's view of Israel has changed differently since 2017, and news sources can no longer be accessed to see the full version Historian128 (talk) 17:16, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
The point is that you marked that edit as minor. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit. NebY (talk) 17:25, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
