Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Polish cuisine‎. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 19:54, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Polish cuisine‎

I'm assuming that you also don't know how to see edit summaries. If you click on the hstory tab you will see a list of the last 250 edits - hopefully most will have edit summaries (all should). I have reverted you twice now. What we call the lead/lede of an article is described at WP:LEAD. The lead summarises the article, and the article discusses the influence on Polish cuisine that you deleted without explanation. Please don't do this again. If after reading the article you still think it's inappropriate, discuss it on the talk page of the article (called the Discussion page). Dougweller (talk) 19:59, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Apologies, I've just seen on my watch list you have, I'll go look at it now. Dougweller (talk) 20:05, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits to Talk:Polish cuisine could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact.   Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:44, 20 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
