Autopatrolled granted

Hi Hinnk, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Schwede66 06:12, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Edit

Hi Hink, thank you for watching over Wikipedia. Could you please explain why you don't consider the citations on Pollock and Klimt as not reliable. They are scientific articles with a lot of backing from scholarly articles and research. Thanks BingBing88 (talk) 19:25, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

It's the blog for an online store. Having now read through Wikipedia:Reliable sources, how would you evaluate what it says about "self-published media" and "the importance of a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy" as it pertains to Pigment Pool? hinnk (talk) 19:47, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

When the Earth Trembled

13:48, July 22, 2024‎ When the Earth Trembled

You recently deleted an 1913 image from the cast table stating "move ad out of cast table per MOS:NO-TABLES."

If you could help built my understanding of why this correction was made–I couldn't find within your quoted justification an exact reason for removing the image from the cast table. Thus, could you please explain in the MOS where it specifies that you are prohibited from including an image in the table? In your opinion, would locating the image outside the table be, OK?

Thanks

Michael Jannetta (talk) 00:18, 23 July 2024 (UTC)

It's still there, just moved, not deleted. The part I was referring to is the "Page layout" section, which says, "Page layouts…should be done via CSS, not tables, whenever possible. Images and other embedded media should be positioned using standard image syntax." The image is currently in the Production section since it seemed like a better fit, but yeah, fine with it being in the Cast section, as long as it uses the standard image formatting instead of table formatting. hinnk (talk) 01:16, 23 July 2024 (UTC)

Thank you about RS

Thank you for reviewing and giving feedback on Joever despite rivalry in the AfD with a foregone conclusion. You improved my understanding of WP:RS and made me learn about how to search WP:RSN. This taught me how to increase the rigor of my sourcing, which I would like to thank you for! 142.113.140.146 (talk) 16:28, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
