Marjorie Goodwin

I hope you will decide to continue work on an article about Marjorie Cussons.

As a new editor, it must look to you like we were abrupt and not very appreciative of the work you put into the start of the article.

I'd like you to see it through my eyes:

I reviewed over 200 proposed articles today. Most were close to worthless. We get several hundred new submissions every day. While it would be nice if we could spend hours on each one, identifying how they could be improved, our experience tells us that in most cases, it is a monumental waste of time.

The article on Marjorie Cussons may well be the exception, but as I mentioned, at the time I saw it, there were no references to reliable sources, which is an absolute requirement, and no mention of her connection to the WWF, which may well be why she deserves an article.

The good news is that it is easily fixed, and if you want to work on the article more, I can retrieve it for you, and place it in a location which will not get deleted quickly.

Then I'll urge you to visit the Wikipedia:Teahouse, where experienced editors will be happy to help with the critical issue of references, and other issues such as the standard structure of articles.--S Philbrick(Talk) 20:43, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

I've taken the liberty to perform some minor formatting and cleanup work on it. It won't be accepted for publication in main article space until it cites multiple reliable sources, however. ~Amatulić (talk) 21:18, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
