Re: Hello

Sorry about that, I usually do sign my posts but I guess this time I got in a hurry and forgot about it. Thanks Stormin' Foreman 17:03, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

personal pages

I'm glad you are joining the new pages patrol, for we certainly can use help!. When I do it, and spot a naive autobio from a child, especially someone such as Ryan Sarmiento, a 10 yr old saying he has muscular dystrophy, I do not use the standard speedy deletion template, which is much too harsh in tone, though perfectly good 90% of the time. So after deleting it, I substituted for the standard: "Ryan, I'm sorry, but this doesn't really fit the WP guidelines for an article. We only put biographies in after the people get notable, so as one of the administrators it was necessary for me to remove it. I hope you'll be interested in contributing to Wikipedia in other ways, so Welcome!

And may you stay as well as possible--best wishes" I don't have a standard wording, I write one spontaneously each time. I'm sure you'll agree with the reasoning. DGG 00:24, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Answer

No, it is perfectly fine. You just can not tamper with the tag until it is detirmined that you are indeed not a sockpuppet of the aformentioned user. Karrmann 19:29, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, it is your lucky day. Checkuser has confirmed you to be innocent. Happy editing! Karrmann 20:11, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Unblock

(Even though I don't have any credibility, I'll say this IP has been known to be shared, for those who really want an explanation). Hanoi Girl 17:33, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

The unblock locating tool is currently borked which means we can't find your autoblock. I'll prod the admin who maintains it. --Yamla 18:06, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
