Welcome!

Speedy deletion nomination of User:HTME1112023/sandbox

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:HTME1112023/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, HTME1112023. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Fancy Refrigerator (talk) 13:41, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 13:58, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, your chosen username is too close to an existing username. Please pick another. PhilKnight (talk) 08:07, 12 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your information. Can I change it into "Bluish Red".

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

That would be okay as a new username, but that's not the only issue here, please address your inappropriate edits that violated WP:COI and possibly WP:PAID(which includes employment). 331dot (talk) 09:39, 12 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Bluish Red One | I would like to request for unblock my account. This time I learn about the Wikipedia Username policy and I would like to change it into the simple one, Bluish Red One. Regarding to the COI issue, I feel really sorry about that as I didn't aware the policy before. I can disclose that there is no payment connection for writing this article. I want to contribute in the Wikipedia community. I admit that I need to learn a lot to create a good article here.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. signed, Rosguill talk 02:16, 22 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

So you are not employed by HTME? 331dot (talk) 12:29, 13 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello Sir/Madam,
No, I am currently working in the HTME. I just want to clarify about the compensation of writing this article. As I mentioned before, I didn't get any specific compensation for that, even though I am the current employer in the HTME. I will wait for your feedback upon that because I need guidance upon that.
Thank you in advance. 86.97.19.147 (talk) 07:53, 16 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
As an employee, you still need to make a paid declaration - see WP:PAID for details. PhilKnight (talk) 17:24, 16 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear Mr. PhilKnight,
I would like to declared a connection with the subject of this article. I am professionally connected to the subject of this article (Haward Technology Middle East).
HTME1112023 (talk) 08:47, 24 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
The {{connected contributor}} template isn't the correct one to use here, nor is it in the right place.
  • If you were to create new articles related to HTME, or edit existing ones related to it, you would need to use the {{connected contributor (paid)}} template on the article's talk page (not your user talk page, which is this page).
  • What you needed is the {{paid}} template on your userpage. Based on what you have told us, I have taken the liberty of placing there for you.

Dear Drm310,
Thank you for your message and for taking the time to explain the correct templates to use on my Wikipedia user page. I appreciate your guidance and I will make sure to use the appropriate templates in the future.
I would also like to request for the unblock of my account. As I mentioned earlier, I understand the importance of following Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and I assure you that any information added was truthful and verifiable. I would like to request for the unblock of my account so that I can make necessary changes to articles related to my organization and ensure they comply with Wikipedia's standards.
I understand that I am only allowed to talk on the article's talk page, but I believe that having the ability to make changes will allow me to improve the articles and provide accurate information to the public. I appreciate your consideration of my request and look forward to your positive response.
Thank you for your time and support.
Sincerely, HTME1112023 (talk) 12:13, 7 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

In order to demonstrate your understanding of Wikipedia's policies, please answer the questions below:

  1. What articles do you intend to edit if unblocked on Wikipedia? Please note if a user only intends to edit articles of which they have a conflict of interest, it is more difficult to convince administrators that you should be unblocked.
  2. What is Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy and how will you comply with it?
  3. If an editor has a conflict of interest with an article, how can they request edits to ensure their additions or changes are not promotional? Do you commit to using these processes on articles in which you have a conflict of interests if unblocked? (Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard/COI and WP:AfC might help)

Feel free to ping me if you have any questions. Z1720 (talk) 17:36, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear Z1720,
I wanted to thank you for taking the time to review my account and providing me with the opportunity to answer the questions you've posed. As someone who values the integrity and accuracy of Wikipedia, I understand the importance of complying with the site's conflict of interest policies.
If my account is unblocked, I plan to edit articles related to my organisation as well as articles related to the broader ideas involved. I am committed to ensuring that any changes I make are neutral, factual, and verifiable.
Regarding the conflict of interest policy, I understand that I should declare my interests and avoid directly editing the article.
Instead, I plan to use the article's talk page or request edits using the Edit Request Wizard/COI or WP:AfC processes. I will take every necessary step to comply with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
Thank you for considering my request to unblock my account. I appreciate your time and hope to hear from you soon.
Best, HTME1112023 (talk) 04:37, 24 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
I am concerned that, if unblocked, the information that you hope to add to the articles will not comply with WP:NPOV. Also, Wikipedia frowns upon single purpose accounts so I encourage you to branch outside of articles about your organisation that you want to edit. To showcase your editing skills, please pick an article on Wikipedia that you would like to edit. Please provide a short example of what you would like to add to the article, showing neutrally-worded prose and proper citations. (One or two sentences should be sufficient for this). Feel free to ping me if you have any questions. Z1720 (talk) 17:48, 24 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear Z1720,
Thank you for your concern. I understand the importance of adhering to WP:NPOV and will ensure that any information I add is neutral and verifiable. I also appreciate your suggestion to edit other articles on Wikipedia to showcase my editing skills. I will certainly do so.
As an example of neutrally-worded prose and proper citations, I would like to add one citation in the article "Person-centered care" at the end of the following sentence. "The holistic framework by McCormack and McCance consists of four constructs; prerequisites, the care environment, person-centred processes, and expected outcomes."
McCormack, B., & McCance, T. V. (2006). Development of a framework for person-centred nursing. Journal of advanced nursing, 56(5), 472-479. https://doi.org/10.1111/j.1365-2648.2006.04042.x
I'll highly appreciate receiving your positive feedback in this regard.
