Re:Ron Rivera

GreenGourd, damn I hate to admit it but, you "are" right and I "was" wrong in reverting. I thought about it and I told myself: "Tony, you do not make any sense, what the hell were you thinking?" I mean Rivera was the first person of Puerto Rican descent in the NFL, but there have been others. Go ahead and revert me, it was my mistake and I would be honored if you did so. Greetings

I saw your edit on the talk page of Woodland Hills Mall, and thanks. I don't know if you were playing the "random article" circuit or if you are interested in Tulsa-related topics, but if the latter is true, Taskforce Tulsa and WikiProject Oklahoma are composed of editors with similar interests - just FYI if you ever need help with Oklahoma topics, or just other like-minded editors for collaboration. Anyway, thanks for the comment on the mall article, I've removed the mention of The Cheesecake Factory. Okiefromoklatalk to me 05:25, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

I'll probably be back. I just blanked my user page and put that stark message up on my talk page because I needed to convince myself that it was forever :P. I just need to focus on real life for the time being as Wikipedia becomes addicting, I'm sure you know. But there's a chance I'll be back someday. Thanks! (P.S: I'm logged on my alternate account but this is me, I promise) This is a sock puppet of User:Okiefromokla 18:10, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

League of Copyeditors roll call

Greetings from the League of Copyeditors. Your name is listed on our members page, but we are unsure how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the League's activities. If you are still interested in participating in the work of the League, please follow the instructions at the members page to add your name to the active members list. Once you have done that, you might want to familiarise yourself with the new requests system, which has replaced the old /proofreading subpage. As the old system is now deprecated, the main efforts of the League should be to clear the substantial backlog which still exists there.
The League's services are in as high demand as ever, as evinced by the increasing backlog on our requests pages, both old and new. While FA and GA reviewers regularly praise the League's contributions to reviewed articles, we remain perennially understaffed. Fulfilling requests to polish the prose of Wikipedia's highest-profile articles is a way that editors can make a very noticeable difference to the appearance of the encyclopedia. On behalf of the League, if you do consider yourself to have left, I hope you will consider rejoining; if you consider yourself inactive, I hope you will consider returning to respond to just one request per week, or as many as you can manage. Merry Christmas and happy editing, The League of Copyeditors.

Vandalism on Xalapa

"300-foot worms around every corner" = not apparent, but bonafide vandalism. Good work, GreenGourd. --Wkboonec (talk) 18:36, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I felt pretty confident when I removed [1] that from the Xalapa article! I certainly did a double-take when I got to that sentence in the article. Thanks for the good words. GreenGourd (talk) 19:17, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Well, I wasn't staying "away" as I had hoped. I couldn't help but participate in discussions on various talk pages. I figured I might as well admit I was still here. Thanks! :) Let me know if you ever need anything. Okiefromokla questions? 03:45, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Baseball pocket billiards

Again, thanks for the copyedit. More importantly, thanks for telling me you enjoyed reading the article! I write all these obscure articles on billiard players and topics (see my userpage) and get little feedback. As I'm sure you already noticed I reverted back with a minor tweak. I didn't notice the repetition while looking at just the edit change diff. By the way, if you are a billiards fan and have interest in writing on the topic or helping existing articles, please consider joining us at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cue sports.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:40, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Northeastern State University

Hello, Ya im a student at NSU, When I started Wikipedia NSU was the first article that I began to imporve and have had no help with it so anything you would like to do would be great. If you think the photos need to increase then go for it, but I would not make them two big so that it doesnt slow down computers with a slower internet connection or look bad on small screens. I redid the info box and modeled it after the OU page. I to have wanted to add info about BA and Muskogee for a while, but I havent found much or got around to it. If you wanna add to these parts of the article ill help you out if you need it. I also will try to add some things myself to make it better.--CPacker (talk) 21:12, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey thanks you the support with the portal, what did you have in mind when you said you "wouldn't object to some tinkering"? I was just wondering, Thanks--CPacker (talk) 04:21, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
I just meant that if Okiefromokla and others felt strongly about changing the colors, I'd certainly be ok with changing them. As I said, though, I think it's cool as it is. Great work! GreenGourd (talk) 01:34, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Just to let you know I changed the Portal colors, hope you think they look better than the whole brown look, if you have suggestions let me know, thanks --CPacker (talk) 05:32, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
The new colors look super—very Oklahoma. Nice job! I see you're also working on Portal:Pennsylvania. It's looking good, too. GreenGourd (talk) 16:08, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the congrats, and if you need any help just ask and ill try my best to help you out if you need it.--CPacker (talk) 02:22, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Phillies WikiProject...?

Not sure how involved you are with Wikipedia as a whole, but here's something you might find particularly interesting: here EaglesFanInTampa 13:22, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
