On Posessives and Contractions

7 Halos?

Are you sure there are 7 Halos? Oh, well I guess thinking about it now I wouldn't be surprised, with Bungie's obsession with the number 7. I just thought I remembered 2401 or 343 talking about "The six installations" sometime in Halo 2. Maybe this is at the very end after the countdown has stopped and he says "the other six installations [have gone on standby]." Hey, thanks so much for posting that picture of the Engineer from halo. Did you find that picture online or did you mod the game and take a screenshot? Manual of Style

You removed the title of the article from the first sentence of History of Ireland. Please note that the Wikipedia Manual of Style suggests the opposite:

If possible, make the title the subject of the first sentence of the article (as opposed to putting it in the predicate). For example, write "This Manual of Style is a style guide" instead of "This style guide is known as the Manual of Style". In any case, the title should appear as early as possible in the article — preferably in the first sentence.

Invitation to Meetup/Seattle6, a focus group

Hello. I'm part of a research group at the University of Washington (Seattle campus), and my group is reaching out to Wikipedians in the Puget Sound area. We're hosting a focus group designed to gather information on what Wikipedians would like to know about each other when interacting on Wikipedia. Our end goal is to create an embedded application that helps people quickly know more about others' history and activity on Wikipedia, and we feel our design will be much more useful if it's based on insights of users like you.

I'm hoping that the chance to help out local researchers, to engage in lively face-to-face discussion with other Seattle Wikipedians, and to contribute to Wikipedia in a new way will entice you to join us. The session lasts 2 hours and snacks are provided - one is April 8 (Wednesday) starting at 6 pm and the other is April 18 (Saturday) starting at 10 am.
