Sunny Leslie moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Sunny Leslie. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources, it needs more sources to establish notability and as its largely unsourced. Single effective reference is insufficient for a WP:BLP.. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 09:16, 4 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Tony Murray (musician) moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Tony Murray (musician). Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and current sources can't be used to establish notability for a WP:BLP. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 18:43, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mick Grabham, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Wedding March. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ITN recognition for Terry Kirkman

edit

On 27 September 2023, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Terry Kirkman, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. PFHLai (talk) 12:09, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Tony Baylis moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Tony Baylis. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (talk) 20:20, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve B.B. Cunningham

edit

Hello, GlasssixstringV2,

Thank you for creating B.B. Cunningham.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Discogs is user generated and not a reliable source. We'll need a different source for some of the biographical details.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Siroxo}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Garry Peterson

edit

I reverted your edit to Garry Peterson per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Garry Peterson. Please read WP:42 and WP:SPINOUT. You need to develop content and make an un-ambiguous case that the subject meets MUSICBIO or GNG, remembering that interviews and other source material not independent of the subject do not create notability even if the source was otherwise reliable. Welcome!

edit

Hello, GlasssixstringV2, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as City Limits (band), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! microbiologyMarcus (petri dish) 18:26, 23 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Massive removals

edit

Why are you doing these massive deletions in articles? I see no indication any of the articles have been full of unsatisfied citation requests, or really any at all. You're likely to face blind reversions of all these changes. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 19:12, 2 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Probably not. If an article has two paragraphs that have no sources tagged to them, how are we to know if it’s the truth or not with nothing to back it with. GlasssixstringV2 (talk) 19:23, 2 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 19:33, 2 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, no, stop this. If you want to make sure an article is verifiable, you can find sources and help improve the article. Stripping out every unsourced statement creates more work that people will have to do to get the article to an ideal place in the future. This is not improving the article, this is not ensuring a level of verifiability, this is not the process that articles are written with. Go read WP:PRESERVE, please.
