Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at User:Gibbs629/sandbox. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Attempting to submit a frivolous article to Articles for Creation is not the way to get your ten edits to be autoconfirmed. Just edit in articles or on talk pages. Submitting frivolous articles is tendentious. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:00, 18 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of My Brotherz Keepa

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on My Brotherz Keepa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Copyvio and notability

edit

Hey, I thought I'd explain why the pages got deleted. With the web series, it was because there was no coverage to show where the series would pass notability guidelines. By this I mean that there doesn't seem to be any news articles or reviews in places that would be considered an independent reliable source. It's fairly difficult for web series, let alone any web content, to get the type and amount of coverage necessary to pass notability guidelines per WP:GNG.

Also, I noticed that your article for NeNe Capri was taken wholesale from her Amazon author bio. This is considered to be a copyright violation and as such, had to be removed. Copyright is automatically assumed with any content unless it's posted someplace that marks the content as fair use. I also didn't really see where that article had any sources either. Unfortunately it's really, really super hard for a lot of urban fiction authors to gain coverage because at best, they're outright ignored by the places that Wikipedia considers to be reliable. Heck, it took me a while to gather enough sources to really show notability for Nikki Turner and she's considered to be one of the reigning queens of UF. It's pretty frustrating overall when you get UF authors who are very popular and publish through a major UF publisher, yet they don't get the coverage. However there still needs to be sources, so unfortunately I don't know that Capri would pass guidelines for authors per WP:NAUTHOR.

However if you want to try to make this article, feel free to do so. I'd recommend that you start first in your userspace or at WP:AfC, the articles for creation process. This would give you more time to work on the article and if you go through AfC, your article will get reviewed by another editor, who will decide if it's ready to be moved to the mainspace. I also want to extend an invitation to the WP:TEAHOUSE, which is a great place to ask questions about Wikipedia in general. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:08, 18 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at User:Gibbs629/sandbox. Your edits have been or will be reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Just continuing to resubmit a declined draft isn't going to get it accepted into article space. It will only annoy the reviewers and the administrators.
