Substantial coverage in reliable independent sources is what makes hernotable. FloridaArmy (talk) 16:04, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
Your draft sadly, does NOT have "substantial coverage in reliable independent sources" though? Theroadislong (talk) 16:07, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
This section of a book on the history of Cleveland is quite substantial. Other sources diacuss the school in relation to various notable figures. FloridaArmy (talk) 16:11, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
Exactly, they discuss the school, NOT her. Theroadislong (talk) 15:38, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

UnitedStatesian Warnersville does not exist as an entry. It is a poorly targeted redirect to a less notable Warnersville than the other two. It's clearly not acceptable to redirect a subject title to one entry mentioning one use of the subject name when there are tow other more notable subject that use the name, and not just historically but currently. Thanks for your work on the entry User:KylieTastic. I think I saw some coverage of his leading infrastructure improvements as mayor. I will try to add to that section if you don't get to it first. Happy New Year. Have a terrific 2021 and beyond. FloridaArmy (talk) 15:55, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
  • Thanks - i did look for newspaper coverage of his mayorship and also an image but couldn't find any, but there was so many noticed printed just with his name on that it was difficult to find any articles. You too for 2021 and beyond.... I think we all deserve a good year after the last :) KylieTastic (talk) 16:03, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
Thanks User:KylieTastic. The Historical Association has a photo of him and some related images that I think they indicate are now in public domain (I didn't follow link to the law they cite). His mayoral term was short. I added a bit about the canal infrastucture project he "promoted". Not clear when. Do we know when Ennis was named for him? FloridaArmy (talk) 16:29, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
  • The image on tshaonline they are claiming as "fair use" not PD. It could well be PD now but visitennis do not list a source, the colour suggest a book rather than a newspaper. KylieTastic (talk) 18:01, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
I see. What about using [https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1890s-cabinet-photo-cornelius-ennis-1868031958 this image User:KylieTastic? Would a 19th century cabinet photo be PD now? FloridaArmy (talk) 18:47, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
  • I saw that one and I don't know... the obvious rule is "published before 1925" but published is a horrible legal term c:Commons:Publication and is a clear yes for newspapers but for most other stuff I'm never sure. I hate copyright... it's too woolly and open to interpretation. You'd have to ask commons copyright peeps :/ KylieTastic (talk) 19:29, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
