Hello, I'm QuiteUnusual. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Wahoo Fitness have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Wahoo Fitness. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. How is my editing promotional? I added chronological timeline of products Wahoo Fitness developed, just like many other business pages have. The Wahoo Fitness Wikipedia page is inaccurate. The company makes more than the product listed on the pages, inside the products table. Don't you care about providing accurate and complete information to readers? Also, i do not work on Wahoo Fitness marketing team.

Do you work for Wahoo or are connected in some way to the company? The problem is that your edits look like they belong in a brochure for the company ("Built on KICKR technology, KICKR BIKE propelled Wahoo into the stationary bike category", listing the entire product catalog). Second, links to products don't belong in the article. Here's a good FAQ at getting started editing business articles, especially those of a connected contributor. Then why don't you just remove "propelled" if that feels promotional. "Built on KICKR technology" is an objective statement of the KICKR bike. I have no problem being accurate and provide correct information with an objective point of view. The purpose of this page is to provide that type of information, and be inclusive of all products, not display outdated information. However, removing everything that i added for accuracy reasons defeats the purpose of Wikipedia having business information pages that are supposed to provide accurate, updated information to readers. I was trying to give you an example of a phrase that caught my eye. I'm not going to litigate every sentence with you. Please read WP:NPOV and WP:5P. The Wahoo page definitely needs improvement, but that doesn't mean turning it into a marketing page. tedder (talk) 03:50, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
