Proposed deletion of Nikki Sharma

edit

The article Nikki Sharma has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of Sherish Ali

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sherish Ali requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sasural Simar Ka 2 moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Sasural Simar Ka 2, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 17:06, 2 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Sasural Simar Ka 2

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Sasural Simar Ka 2. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Draft:Sasural Simar Ka 2. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Draft:Sasural Simar Ka 2. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at [[Talk:Draft:Sasural Simar Ka 2|the article's talk page]].

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. KingAndGod 07:41, 7 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sasural Simar Ka‎

edit

Please stop adding the broadcast days and times to articles. Wikipedia is not a TV Guide and articles should not include that information. Continuing to add it back after multiple editors have reverted it can be considered disruptive. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 20:59, 18 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Laado 2 (TV series), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please check MOS:TV Sid95Q (talk) 13:51, 19 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your addition to Laado 2 (TV series) has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. Your edits to this article were directly copied from here. Do NOT copy and paste from sources, you will end up blocked from editing if you continue to do this. HEY - STOP AND READ THIS!

edit

Okay, you NEED to stop copying text from online articles and pasting the content into Wikipedia articles. You just did it on Sasural Simar Ka. That is a copyright violation. You MUST stop this - see WP:COPYRIGHT for some information on this. If you continue, you will end up blocked from further editing. Ravensfire (talk) 15:07, 19 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Laado 2 (TV series)‎. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Again, Wikipedia is NOT A TV GUIDE. We don't care about the days and times a show is broadcast as that information is meaningless. Stop adding them to articles. Ravensfire (talk) 18:36, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Manual of Style for Television

edit

Hi there, re: your recent edits, you should familiarise yourself with our Manual of Style for Television if you plan to edit television articles at Wikipedia. This set of guidelines represents widespread community consensus for how TV articles should be structured, and it is a major problem how far off the mark Indian television articles are from our basic community standards. There are children's animation articles that are in better shape than the majority of Indian TV articles. For instance, "Former cast" is not a valid subsection of cast. Cast members don't suddenly lose academic value simply because they have left the series. We care about the entire history of a show, not just the most current information. Consider this as well: If a show is canceled, we would have to everybody to the Former cast section, which would not be very helpful to someone trying to figure out who was part of the Main or Recurring cast. Note that WP:TVCAST explains this. Also, if you want to see what our goal is for these cast sections, see List of Millennium characters, where you'll notice there are brief character descriptions along with real-world content about casting, and how characters were killed off, etc. We want to move closer to this, not farther away. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:09, 26 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

By what justification can you claim that the file you uploaded, File:Sasural Simar Ka.jpg is your own work, such that you can release it into the Creative Commons? Do you have any comprehension of basic copyright law, or do you just not care? See WP:COPYRIGHT and WP:NFCC immediately. Any more copyright violations and your editing privileges will be interrupted to prevent damage to the encyclopedia. And if you don't respond to this notice with a satisfactory reply, I'll interrupt your editing privileges. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:59, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
