Proposed deletion of Harold the Barrel

edit

The article Harold the Barrel has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unremarkable song. Fails WP:NMG. Article does not assert notability of the song.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Richard BB 13:57, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

References

edit

Thank you for contributing articles about "Harold the Barrel" and "Seven Stones", two songs from the seminal Genesis album Nursery Cryme. Unfortunately, without references, we have no idea whether the information you have added is correct. Some of the material expresses an opinion, which is no in compliance with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. If reliable sources have expressed an opinion, you may report on that, as long as you note that this is a particular source's opinion and you cite the source. As it is, the articles you have written are not appropriate for Wikipedia, and may well be deleted. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:10, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to No Son of Mine, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. Evanh2008 (talk|contribs) 20:00, 16 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to The Who Sell Out, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 04:34, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Edit reverted on The Yes Album

edit

Hi,

I've noticed you have just reverted an edit in The Yes Album which just added the link to the Hebrew wiki for the same article. The edit seems legitimate to me and the Hebrew article seems to be the correct one, though I cannot read that language and cannot be sure. Is there anything there that escapes me or was the revert made in error?--Gorpik (talk) 11:33, 24 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Heavy metal/Bands

edit

Hello, Epping232. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Bands".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 19:35, 24 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
