Ujff edit

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Ujff, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. A new cold night (letter)

A tag has been placed on A new cold night (letter), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Metropolitan90 05:17, 17 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Pfilm403308613.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 15:43, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK, that's enough, please - any further POV edits will be reverted, and you are in danger of being blocked. Please discuss any controversial edits on the talkpage. Black Kite 13:51, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Hello - yes, the first paragraph makes it clear that "Asian fetishism" is a derogatory term, but previous discussion had decided that whilst the stereotype of Asian women might be racist (see this article), the term itself was descriptive. Hope this helps. Black Kite 13:59, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • (Machine translation): Hola. Black Kite 14:01, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • You are also removing material. Please do not do this again, or I will block you. Black Kite 14:04, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

—Preceding unsigned comment added by Elias Enoc (talk • contribs) 25 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Because those don't appear to be notable terms.

—Preceding unsigned comment added by Elias Enoc (talk • contribs) 25 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Unfortunately we can't include our opinions on the term, only report on the actual term itself. The article does state that it is derogatory. Please see WP:NPOV.
Gracias, Black Kite 14:57, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Wikimedia Stories Project edit

Aloha!

My name is Victor and I work with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. We're chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade new people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who use Wikipedia have so much to share.

I find stories that drive our annual fundraising efforts. It's important to convey the incredible diversity of people who've come to rely upon Wikipedia every day.

I'd really like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia.

I will be in Buenos Aires from the 10th - 11th of March 2012.

I'm hoping you will elaborate on your story with me. Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project!

Thank you,

Victor Grigas

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:58, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
