Hello, I'm Wtmitchell. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Soul, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 03:43, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Devatma. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - MrX 04:05, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Devatma philosophy

edit

The article Devatma philosophy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

see WP:NOT#ESSAY

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Devatma

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Devatma, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Devatmashishya. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Deadbeef 07:08, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Redirects to Satya Nand Agnihotri

edit

Hello Devatmashishya.
Just letting you know that I have wp:redirected both 'Dev Atma' and 'Bhagwan Devatma‎' to Satya Nand Agnihotri. This is the largest article, though not the first you created on this person which is why I chose it as the 'main' page. Any text from those other pages that might need to be wp:merged or manually added into the 'main' page is still available in those pages history.

Please note it is not necessary to create separate pages under different names for one persons wp:Biography. Please also note that unless you (or other editors) can provide wp:reliable sources (WP:RS) and sources, other than those affiliated with the person or their organisation, demonstrating the wp:Notability of Satya Nand Agnihotri, then that page may well be deleted.--220 of Borg 02:45, 23 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please note that there appears to have already been a WP page about the same person at Shiv Narayan Agnihotri. Comment may be made at Talk:Shiv Narayan Agnihotri.
‎Please note that anything added to this page needs to be wp:Verifiable (WP:VER) with wp:Reliable sources. (WP:RS) --220 of Borg 04:46, 23 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Multiple accounts?

edit

Hello, Devatmashishya, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please remember to disclose these connections. Thank you.

The possible other account is Devatma (talk · contribs), whose user page you have edited. 220 of Borg 03:07, 23 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
