January 2022 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Telugu people, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — DaxServer (talk) 06:51, 6 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Telugu people, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — DaxServer (talk) 07:41, 6 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Telugu people. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.DaxServer (talk) 07:42, 6 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

February 2022 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at K. Chakravarthy, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · c) 16:51, 6 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

March 2022 edit

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Devaalayam. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 22:36, 18 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

It is usual convention to distinguish words part of language as vocabulary from movie names.
Devaalayam means temple in Sanskrit and few other Indian languages. Dev'aa'layam is correct word not Dev'a'layam.
Some words are important to language structure and its recognition, reputation, Preservation for Millenniums.
If original words are getting replaced by film names, there by making survival of language an arduous task may not be meaningful for the task we are engaged in.
Article Devaalayam belongs to a 1964 Malayalam Movie. They should have added Film suffix which is usual practice while creating page for a film.
For Example "Kalpana" is a word in many Indian languages means 'Imagination'.
Both "Kalpana" word in sanskrit and "Kalpana (Film)" exist as articles on wikipedia. DeepakMalhar (talk) 03:48, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Satavahana dynasty, you may be blocked from editing. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 23:57, 26 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

When you post a message, please add it to the bottom of the talk page with a new heading, don't just add comments to an existing thread higher up. I've moved your comments now.

There is no obligation to wait before deleting promos.

Not a reason for deletion, but you said What is the correct name of Sai Madhuka? It's Sai Madhukanot, not Sai Madhuka (Composer); note that it should be lower case "composer" anyway.

I note that you have said you have no conflict of interest, please read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • Your only ref was your own page at nettv4u
  • None of your external links were acceptable, your own nettv4u page again, YouTube, Wikipedia and a dead link
  • No evidence that he meets the notability guidelines
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • Promotional claims include devotional music and fusion music as base strengths... His intuition... Continued his TV career successfully... a musical block buster. . He is proficient in Telugu,Kannada,Tamil and English.'
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:45, 22 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance.
