Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Union Pacific Railroad may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Disambiguation link notification for February 29

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Censoring

Hello, I just undid your edit to BK Chicken Fries. Please take some time to read up on Wikipedia's censoring policy - in summary we do not censor articles for content or wording. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 06:57, 9 April 2016 (UTC)

I understand. Thank you for telling me. Davidng913 (talk) 15:58, 22 June 2017 (UTC)

Gallery section

Hey David, I was wondering why you prefer a gallery section for R62 and R62A articles. If we put the images on the left side of the page, the reader can see them and immediately associate them to the article. If we put the images in a gallery section, the reader has to read the whole article before seeing the images. I personally like the sidebar format, though I would also want to hear your opinion. R143 and R160 cars

Please stop adding these ridiculous trivia sections. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information - that is policy. A list of unimportant differences (motor sounds? window sash colors? seriously?), that have no impact on actual service or operational characteristics, between nominally identical subway cars, is not the kind of information that belongs on Wikipedia. Additionally, most of the section is uncited and outright unciteable. I know you're very attached to the information, but it simply does not belong on Wikipedia, but rather on a railfan forum or blog. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 20:36, 29 June 2016 (UTC)

If you want it removed, remove it yourself, and make the argument for its removal on the talk page. That you say it's "trivia" doesn't make it so. The edit has been reverted. BMK (talk) 21:48, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
BMK I don't think you completed the reversions, though... you only reverted the removal on the article for R46, but the R143, R160, R188, R142, R142A, R68, R68A, R62, R62A, and R44 articles have not had their comparisons reinstated. I do agree with Pi, though: these are unsourced and a little trivial. So David was somewhat right to remove the lists, but only because these were largely unsourced. Use of edit summaries

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! North America1000 11:53, 9 September 2016 (UTC)

Hello, Davidng913. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
