  Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:GulfQuest Maritime Museum, from its old location at User:DaJerm/GulfQuest Maritime Museum. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. — Sam Sailor 19:01, 6 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Maritime Museum

Hi, can you please change some of the wording in your draft to avoid copyviolation as shown here [1] thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 04:17, 10 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads up! I have since changed the wording around. Let me know if there's anything else that needs to be done with it. Thanks! DaJerm

  Hello, DaJerm. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Mini Ladd, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Thuresson (talk) 22:11, 26 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:Logo for Octopie.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Logo for Octopie.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 05:39, 5 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Octopie

edit

The article Octopie has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:NCORP, the best available sources are routine entertainment press and clickbait-y post-2013 Newsweek, which has recently been demoted from general reliability at WP:RSP.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 00:30, 24 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Jeffrey Scott Edell

Hi, Can I ask where you sourced the content for the article Jeffrey Scott Edell from? It contains specific details which don't appear in online sources e.g. the full names of his three children and size of his comic collection etc. --Pontificalibus 14:13, 5 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Oof! I forgot to cite that. I got that information from an online college bulletin. Let me go back and cite that. --DaJerm (talk) 18:13, 5 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Logo for Octopie.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Logo for Octopie.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
