I will not have any discussion of the antics of one idiotic user and the support of him by admin on my talk page. If you wish to discuss it then go to the threads already discussing it.CreamyGoodne55 (talk) 15:01, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Just wanted to say don't be too disheartened by this article being nominated for deletion, I know if can be frustrating when you put loads of work in. It's nice to see someone interested in Lincolnshire cricket. The Lincolnshire County Cricket Club article and the various Lincolnshire cricket grounds all need expanding, so maybe there's an area you could contribute too? WP:CRICKET is always looking for new members too. All the best. StickyWicket (talk) 22:26, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi AssociateAffiliate and thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately myself and the people I have workded with will not be doing any more work on Wikipedia because of the ridicuous actions of Wjemather and his attempt to monopolise his precious pages. If you want to try and get in touch with me privately I can let you know of the work we do outside of here in terms of researching lincolnshire cricket. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CreamyGoodne55 (talkcontribs)
  • You are actually wrong about Wikipedia's purpose, it is not to merely preserve information. It is to summarize independent reliable sources. If you just want to post and preserve information, there are appropriate venues to do that. I'm sorry you haven't had a good experience. 331dot (talk) 13:27, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • 331dotTo be honest I really couldnt care any more. This is just funny now hes deleting comments on the deletion topic because his little games have been found out. You defending him just makes it more funny [1] CreamyGoodne55 (talk) 15:55, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  331dot (talk) 17:13, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I feel like 331dot should not be involved in this process as he clearly has an agenda here, shown by his private discussions with the person that is at the center of this problem [2]. I have shown as much proof as I can literally give that the person is targettting the pages that I have uploaded, contributed to and looked after and the admin in question has now banned me twice while I defend my case. If he wants to defend bullies and gatekeepers then fine, but to ban users when they call out what they see a clear injustice is at best embarrasing, at worst a matter for the general public to be aware of. If I can defend my case then what is the point of any of this. Why dont I just create a new account tomorrow and tage 10,000 articles of similar to mine for deletion and prove the ridiculousness of it? CreamyGoodne55 (talk) 17:19, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

No need to consider lifting the block as you have stated you have no intention of editing further. If you change your mind, you are welcome to request another unblock review. Stick to talking about your own actions, though; unblock requests like this are completely inappropriate. WP:GAB will help you understand how to craft an acceptable unblock request. Yamla (talk) 18:01, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You said that "we are all in 100% agreement that we will not be doing any more work on wikipedia "; so you've changed your mind? Threatening to evade your block doesn't help your case-which someone else will review. 331dot (talk) 17:41, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • 331dotSo do you ban every person who says they are no longer going to contribute on the website? Im defending myself against people that want to attack my work. Whether or not that means I do anything on Wikipedia past that should play no part in banning somone, and If Im honest contributes to my point that your not being neutral in any of this.CreamyGoodne55 (talk) 17:58, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I block(not ban, which is different) people for the reasons that I stated when making the block. If you have intentions of editing or otherwise contributing to this project further, you are free to make another request. 331dot (talk) 18:13, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Isle of Axholme Evening league

edit

I have closed the deletion discussion for this article as 'delete' because there is wide agreement that we should not retain it. However, I just want to say that all your hard work has not been lost because the article has been picked up by the EverybodyWiki and you can find it here: Isle of Axholme Evening league. I have not looked thoroughly but I expect other pages that are no longer on Wikipedia are there too, like The Bob Welton cup and the North Lindsey League. The information that you have compiled has been preserved for the future but is resting in a different place. Kind regards, --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 07:44, 25 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
