Sabirock

edit

You AFD'd the Sabirock article after 3 sources were located and properly referenced. The article is clearly not in good shape, but I don't think it's deletion worthy either. It's a work in progress, and I've got some fair use images I'm waiting to hear back about that would improve it further. Could you explain your viewpoint either on my talk page or on the article's talk page? Nswinton 11:36, 13 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jonathan Ross

edit

I made a mistake when I put the note about the move we are discussing on the article page for Jonathan Ross (senator) and not the talk page. I have not moved it to the talk page. I have also removed the note on the article page for Jonathan Ross (television presenter). This is now in line with the instructions at WP:RM. I apologise for my mistake. -- Patleahy 19:37, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

List of the writings of William Monahan

edit

Hey, this stupid list is up for deletion again. As someone who voted on this issue previously, please feel free to express your opinion again. Also, billdeancarter has taken the liberty of notifying those who voted to keep in the first debate, so I am doing this to be fair. WhiteKongMan 13:45, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Moves

edit

There is strong community consensus for each of the moves you reverted. You do not just get to decide that our naming conventions don't apply. 81.104.175.145 03:04, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ftr

edit

A poll is currently being conducted at Talk:Ftr#Requested move to decide whether to move the article to FTR (bus). Your input would be appreciated. --Jorvik 10:24, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your opinion welcome at deletion review for Plot of Les Mis

edit

After Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Plot of Les Misérables closed as a deletion, I'm challenging the way the closing administrator acted as in violation of Wikipedia rules. Your participation is welcome at that discussion, Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2007 July 14. Please keep in mind that only arguments related to either new information or to how Wikipedia rules were violated or not violated in closing the discussion will be considered. It isn't a replay of the original AfD. I'm familiar with WP:CANVASSING and I am alerting everyone who participated in that discussion to the deletion review. I won't contact anyone again on this topic, and I apologize if you consider this note distracting. Noroton 04:01, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

honesty

edit

Alerted people I knew would support me? That is false and dishonest. I posted the usual routine notice of the AfD at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mathematics and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Probability without urging anyone to vote "keep" or to vote "delete" and without knowing whether anyone would support keeping the article or would oppose it. It is customary when an article in the any of the mathematics categories is on AfD to do that.

Those who come to Wikipedia just to pick fights don't belong here. If you keep it up you could get banned. Michael Hardy 04:52, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
