Speedy deletion nomination of Germs.io edit

Hello CoolStuffYT,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Germs.io for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

May 2018 edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:42, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, User:CoolStuffYT/sandbox edit

Hello, CoolStuffYT. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "sandbox".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CoolSkittle (talk) 20:42, 30 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

September 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to 2020 Atlantic hurricane season, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Please always refer to NHC advisories for location and wind speed/pressure information. Thanks. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 15:50, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Storm track maps by the NHC edit

Hello CoolStuffYT, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have to tell you that importing new images showing the 5 day forecast cone by the NHC made by you into the {{Infobox hurricane current}} is both unnecessary and may be in a violation of copyright policies. First, there is already a bot, Cewbot, making these images, so no users have to do the tedious work of uploading. Also, for the images, these are not your own work!. The forecast cones are made by the NHC and credit should be attributed to the NHC, not you. Please stop uploading these images to Wikipedia and Wikimedia commons, or I'm afraid someone will block you for copyright violations. Thank you. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 17:13, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

I understand that you are new to Wikipedia, and probably Commons too. If you want to contact an user, please either go to their talk page, or {{ping}} them by writing {{ping|USERNAME}}. Writing a hidden message on an article is not an appropriate way to contact a user; the user cannot see the message unless he/she goes through the edit history. It's ok if you don't know all the policies on WP yet. You learn through experience. Cheers. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 17:30, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thank you @Destroyeraa:. Is the talk page the right place to ping? Or somewhere else? Thanks.
@CoolStuffYT: I fixed all the copyright info on Commons, so now we can use your uploads! Next time you upload, please upload through Commons. They have this program called the Upload Wizard, which helps you upload images/videos while adding licensing, copyright info, and categories along the way. For the upload wizard, go to https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard or click here. Thank you for cooperating with me, and enjoy your time on Wikipedia! ~ Destroyeraa🌀 18:13, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Oh yeah. My username is Destroyeraa, not Destroyeraa🌀. So when pinging me, write {{ping|Destroyeraa}}. Thanks.

Hey there CoolStuffYT. I can't seem to find your new image of Paulette. Can you send me a link or a url? Cewbot changed the image on the 2020 season page to his upload. Don't worry, we get to use yours when Cewbot gets outdated. Also, when responding, make sure to do this: ~~~~ to sign your name. This is especially useful for article talk page discussions, so other editors can know who said what and stuff like that. Good work! ~ Destroyeraa🌀 23:58, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:30, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
