Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Sardaar Ji 2 has been reverted.
Your edit here to Sardaar Ji 2 was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZnrMI4C5pM/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hi there, re: these edits, please note that per WP:OVERLINK we don't need multiple wikilinks for the same person. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:25, 1 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Blogs as references

edit

Hi there, re: your edit here, per WP:UGC we do not use blogs as references, since anyone with an internet connection can create a blog and call himself an expert on any given subject. We're only interested in what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say. Other examples of insufficient sources include discussion forums, website comments, unverified Twitter accounts, IMDb, even Wikipedia itself. Please stick to mainstream sources like major newspapers, magazines and their online presences. (The Hindu, Hindustani Times, Times of India, etc.) Please also familiarize yourself with our general guidelines on reliable sources. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:08, 4 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

WP:MINOR and WP:FILMCAST

edit

Hi there, re: this edit, please note that the minor edit checkbox is for cosmetic changes like typographical fixes, adding wikilinks, punctuation, etc. It should not be used for any edit that could be the subject of dispute. Please also note that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. We're not here to log every member of a film's cast or every role that was performed. That's why IMDb exists. "Policeman" doesn't sound like a noteworthy role to me. Please see WP:FILMCAST for instructions on how the WikiProject Film community prefers we focus on cast additions. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:19, 15 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Main Teri Tu Mera, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Punjabi. Source for plot summary?

Hi there, re: these changes, where did you get the plot summary? The film hasn't been released, so this would either be entirely speculative, or you should be citing a reference as a source of this information. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:12, 25 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Jindua

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Jindua requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Super Singh redirect

edit

Hi there, re: your recent creation of Super Singh, a pro-tip: For any film that has not yet been released, you need to establish that principal photography has begun. See WP:NFF which states:

Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date. The assumption should also not be made that because a film is likely to be a high-profile release it will be immune to setbacks—there is no "sure thing" production. Until the start of principal photography, information on the film might be included in articles about its subject material, if available. Sources must be used to confirm the start of principal photography after shooting has begun. (Emphasis theirs)

If you don't establish that principal photography has begun, the article either gets redirected or deleted. In this case, I have redirected the article to Anurag Singh (director). Another tip: Please don't make any changes or create any articles unless you have ample sources. WP:RS is our general guideline on reliable sources and if you plan to edit Indian film articles, WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources presents a rough list of sources that are and are not generally considered reliable. Edits that are unsourced are at grave risk of being deleted. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:10, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Jatinder Shah page editing

edit

Hello, Codedeveloper,

I just wanted to inform you that one of your contributions to the Jatinder Shah page has been deleted by a user named as Fylindfotberserk. That's because he told me that you should create the Wikipedia articles for the films in which he composed in it before you add those films in his page and any article that hasn't been referenced should be removed. So you should create an article in which Jatinder Shah has composed in before you add that title in his page. Sincerely, We are the Great. We are the Great (talk) 23:09, 6 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

November 2019

edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Amrinder Gill, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diff: [1] The only reference I've seen someone add for this film beginning principal photography came from a blog. Your unsourced addition isn't helpful. Also, if this was you editing while logged out, stop it. Disruptive edits that come from multiple accounts or accounts and IPs are not permissible. Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. File permission problem with File:Lahoriye Poster.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Lahoriye Poster.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:39, 26 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
