Thanks for uploading File:ZinnEdProject-Logo.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:TFC Logo big.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:TFC Logo big.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 08:53, 16 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

June 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Helen Keller do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:13, 17 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Are you associated with the Zinn Education Project? Your edits seem to suggest this. Please see our [[WP:COI|policy on editing with a conflict of interest]. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:16, 17 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Battle of Blair Mountain, you may be blocked from editing. In my opinion, your addition of text and links serves only to promote the project you seem to be working for. Drmies (talk) 17:24, 17 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your addition to User:Ckcaveny/new article name here has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. NortyNort (Holla) 00:22, 18 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
