three-revert rule Understood--Civit cardona (talk) 13:51, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Marc Gené

edit

Strictly speaking, you're not reverting to a consensus, since both myself and the only other editor engaged in the discussion seem to feel another solution is preferable. However, unless anyone else wants to enter the discussion, I'm happy to leave it as it is, with one small change: there's no need to say the Gené is originally from Catalonia. It's not as if he has changed his nationality from Spanish, unlike say Mario Andretti or Derek Daly. Cheers. 4u1e (talk) 11:16, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

First: I'm not going to discuss the fist paragraph issue here since it's already discussed in Marc Gené's page. If you (or any other editor) prefer another solution, I don't mind discussing it again but I feel it is unrespectfull to edit a page where a consensus has been reached, without undergoing this previous step.
Second: Of course, the originally word it's not "completely correct". I agree with you.
Cheers, --Civit cardona (talk) 11:29, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Consensus is always open to challenge, and as I say, it doesn't seem to me that you do have consensus. Neither Breton nor I, the only others to comment, seem to prefer the solution that you like. I'm quite comfortable that I was in no way disrespectful, but I'm sorry if you felt I was. I don't have a problem with the current wording, but please be aware that you're overplaying the consensus card. Cheers. 4u1e (talk) 16:51, 18 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Breton agreed with my proposal as you can see in the discussion page, in fact, he pointed us to this solution himself by setting it as an example in another biography. But as I said before, I'm open to discuss this matter by openning it again in the beforementioned discussion page.
I thank you for your apologies, I never thought you made it purposely but I think it will be better for all of us (wiki-editors) to look for sensitive issues at the talk page before edditing. I had an edit war before and it wasn't good for any one. Cheers --Civit cardona (talk) 07:11, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:President Companys.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 23:34, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Pau Gasol Name Controversy

edit

I've been busy with things, and I'd like to thank you for taking care of that, for some reason or another, his name isn't exactly the easiest to spell, but for whatever reasons, I'm grateful for your help. Gamloverks (talk) 05:45, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Self-determination

edit

Hey Civit cardona! I've just seen that you have written about the Basque cause in the Self-determination article. I wrote the Catalan cause 2 or 3 weeks ago but I only mentioned that Catalonia wants his independence. Should I inclode the Catalan Countries topic? (I mean adding País Valencià and Illes Balears because some of their population wants the independence)? You're saying the Basque Country (greater region) including Navarre, etc... so I must do the same, don't I? =)

Regards from Barcelona! --Layonard (talk) 21:10, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since some population support this idea it should be mentioned.
Thanks for you co-op.
Cheers --Civit cardona (talk) 09:25, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit war

edit

Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on Republican Left of Catalonia . While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Continued edit warring may cause you to be blocked. Toddst1 (talk) 20:48, 18 June 2009 (UTC) Toddst1 (talk) 17:52, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I will continue reverting changes and I will continue this eddit war until the other person stops and posts his opinion in the discussion page. Furthermore I will revert any change done to a text without previous discussion of controversial issues. Thanks God the other person finally has cooperated... --Civit cardona (talk) 14:03, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Toddst1 (talk) 15:19, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
