File copyright problem with File:Muhammad Albicho.gif
editThank you for uploading File:Muhammad Albicho.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:02, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
The article George Moussan has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. WWGB (talk) 12:37, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- I note the references were added, and that you always do add references as is proper. I see that the warning above was placed while you were in the middle of editing the article, 23 minutes after the first edit. To avoid this sort of problem , the best way is to add a ref at the very first edit. DGG ( talk ) 23:20, 3 July 2011 (UTC)
Appreciation
editI see you have been carefully and correctly adding references to other footballer articles, entered by some other editors who have been continuing to add such articles without making any effort at all to add any reference. This is very good work, for it saves the articles. It's a shame it's necessary, for of course those editors should have done it themselves--and I gave one of them who has been doing it persistently a personally worded warning. (and, btw, when you do add a reference to a PRODed or BLP PRODed articles, even if it's to one of your own articles, its OK & in fact desirable to remove the prod tag yourself --and substitute, if appropriate {{refimproveBLP}} tag. DGG ( talk ) 23:20, 3 July 2011 (UTC)
More appreciation, and little bit about Wikipedia:Notability (sports)
editHi Charles87! Some of the football player articles you've (carefully and correctly) started may not meet the notability guidelines for soccer players - see WP:NSOCCER. Generally, an football player has to have either represented their country in any officially sanctioned senior international competition, or have made an appearance in a fully professional league. Players is junior national teams generally do not pass this test, which is why I have tagged some of the articles you have started as failing Wikipedia's "notability" guidelines. That said, all your contributions are nevertheless very much appreciated!--Shirt58 (talk) 11:01, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
editHi. When you recently edited Mardig Mardigian, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Armenian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

- After getting feedback from another admin, I've restored the page. Please do add more references to the article though, or it may be nominated for deletion again in the future. Thanks, Mark Arsten (talk) 20:10, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
- The article needs to be improved - the sooner the better - so that it meets our general notability guideline, which is more important than our football notability guidelin. This means adding "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." If you need any help, please let me know. Regards, GiantSnowman 11:35, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

Your editing
editCharles, I have been looking through your articles and they seem to match the editing patterns of several sockpuppets, such as User:GOALWAY, User:Yallader, User:Chikenlittle215 and others. I will mention this at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Yalladar. I hope you are not the same editor, and that you have picked up bad habits from so many of the Jordanian sports articles being badly-sourced. Please see Thaer Krouma as an example. Please see WP:INLINECITE. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 08:11, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
