August 2022 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Bavand dynasty. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:28, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, you may be blocked from editing. HistoryofIran (talk) 12:34, 19 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Star and crescent. It also not acceptable to add images like a purported "Flag of the Parthian Empire" to List of Iranian flags and then to Parthian Empire without clear reference in the articles to reliable sources in support. Cypress edit

Thanks for expanding Cypress, which is an article about a number of different plants all with the common name "cypress". I removed the material because it isn't applicable to all plants named "cypress". I think you want to edit Cupressus sempervirens, which is the species of cypress that is native to Iran. — hike395 (talk) 06:57, 18 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Chamroshduty. It appears that you may have attempted to create an article about a topic that already exists on the English language Wikipedia, in this case Arash Abbasi. "ArashAbbasi" has been "redirected" to Arash Abbasi. Should you wish to create an article about a different person of the same or similar name, I recommend you do this through the "Articles for creation" process. Seastika edit

File:Coin of Peroz II Kushanshah.jpg
Coin of Peroz II Kushanshah (303–330)

I reverted your addition of this image, mainly because 303–330 CE is certainly not pre-history ("before records were made") but also because images in articles must serve a purpose. MOS:IMAGES gives the long explanation but briefly, images are used to illustrate, not to decorate. It was not obvious which essential fact needed to be illustrated given that the article already has (too) many images. Please remember that most readers access Wikipedia using mobile phones over expensive links. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 08:03, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

kushanshah coin more important than the newly designed photos in this wiki. this image has a source and should be placed on this page. Chamroshduty (talk) 10:32, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please stop edit

Can you please stop adding unsourced content? First it was the constant undiscussed name changes, and now this? I don't mean to sound rude, but how many times does one thing have to be repeated till you understand? HistoryofIran (talk) 22:46, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

what do you mean by source? mh source canNot be fake books. I write everything that is true. I do Not allow to distort and falsify the history of Iran Chamroshduty (talk) 22:53, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
A source as in a reference, a citation, whatever. It has be to reliable too (WP:RS). Sorry, but the fact that you didn't understand what I mean, as well as your past activities, all points to a concerning lack of WP:CIR - please read it. --HistoryofIran (talk) 23:03, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • Based on my own translation of this [1] ANI report. Constant insults, NPOV, leaning towards WP:CIR. This isn't the hobby for you. I would oppose any unblock. Dennis Brown - 01:41, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Derafsh Shahdad moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Derafsh Shahdad, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia).

I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 19:06, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
