I will also start writing about the other minor dynasties of the Caspian region including the Paduspanis, Dabuyhids, Karenids, and the Salarids. Capital Amol

Per Iranica, ĀL-E BĀVAND --"From ca. 635/1238 to 750/1349. The dynasty was restored three decades later by a side line of the family. The rulers of this branch were vassals of the Il-khans. Although they retained the title of kings of Māzandarān, their power and territories were much more restricted than under the Saljuqs. The capital was moved from Sārī to Āmol, which was less affected by the ravages of the Mongol invasions." the spelling of bavand is not correct, this word is pronounced Pavand/Pavandian. Pa Vand in Mazandarani language means someone who ties something to his feet Chamroshduty (talk) 19:15, 15 August 2022 (UTC)

I already said that the word Bavand is arabic, its original name is Pavand, the local people of Mazandaran call it Pavandian. Here is an English wiki, Is the word P pronounced and spelled as B in English? Chamroshduty (talk) 20:54, 15 August 2022 (UTC)

It doesn't matter how the word is spelled in Arabic, Persian etc. The only important spelling is the English one, and that's Bavand (or sometimes Bawand even). In other words, while it may be spelled as 'Pavand' in Persian, it is spelled as 'Bavand' in English. --HistoryofIran (talk) 23:07, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
