Punctuation

edit
QUICK TIP

In case you didn't know, spaces usually come after punctuation marks.

Instead of this:
  • I like bunnies. They are not only cute, but friendly too.
Try this:
  • I like bunnies. They are not only cute, but friendly too.

Punctuation and spaces

edit

Hi there. Please, please, please examine your articles and fix the spaces and punctuation. There are stray periods. Please see the yellow box above to understand how to put spaces after punctuation. I would appreciate it a lot. Many thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:50, 11 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Adoption lesson

edit

Hi Catverine! I've just posted your first adoption lesson at User:GorillaWarfare/Adopt/Catverine. Take your time reading the lesson, asking me any questions, and completing the test. When you're finished with the test, please either mention this on my talk page or somewhere on the lesson page. I will not grade it until you tell me you're finished, so feel free to work on it in pieces. GorillaWarfare (talk) 16:05, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Robert E. Connick, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Humboldt (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Michael J. Fisher

edit

Thanks for having a look at the Michael J. Fisher article. I see you added Harvard as his alma mater, which is technically correct... "the last-attended higher education institution" (Template:Infobox person). When I see it though, it makes me think he's a Harvard grad, when in fact the Kennedy School only offers MBA-type programs in public policy. Richard Apple (talk) 19:41, 16 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your curation of DT-Manie

edit

I notice you just marked that as 'Unreviewed', which seemed to me to be unusual. I was wondering if you might comment upon that? Fiddle Faddle 23:06, 16 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

You've also made unusual curation decisions on Busch Quartet which does not assert notability at all and is a CSD candidate. You marked it reviewed, tagged it with a banner, and then marked it unreviewed again. But you have reviewed it. Would you appreciate some pointers? A mentor is easy to organise if you would like one. Opting in to VisualEditor

edit

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 50 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "MediaWiki:Visualeditor-preference-enable". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:18, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
