Speedy deletion nomination of User Canihuan300

A tag has been placed on User Canihuan300, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.

If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this:   which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DASHBot (talk) 23:00, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Qubo Night Owl Logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Qubo Night Owl Logo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:06, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Angry Birds. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. This type of move does require more than a little discussion and consensus before being done. McDoobAU93 01:15, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Angry Birds Rio

I noticed you attempted to create a separate article for Angry Birds Rio using the contents of Angry Birds as a starting point. Before this takes place, it's preferred to begin a discussion of splitting off the article on the talk page of Angry Birds, then building consensus for the move before actually doing it. Please feel free to present your reasons for splitting the article before attempting it again. Thanks, and look forward to hearing your thoughts on this. --McDoobAU93 01:19, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

AGAIN ... please do not split out Angry Birds Rio without establishing consensus for such a split on the talk page for Angry Birds itself. You're free to provide reasons why it should be separated (not including as a place to add a screenshot you captured) and allow other editors to agree or disagree with you. --McDoobAU93 20:22, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

Maybe it's time for a little talk. I'm not saying you shouldn't create an article about Angry Birds Rio ... there may well be enough subject matter out there to discuss on its own. It needs to be found, and the other editors who frequent the article for Angry Birds need to come forward and offer their opinions on if there is enough material. If there is, to the point where the coverage of Rio is out-weighing the coverage of the original game, then a new article, just for Rio, might indeed be warranted. If that is the case, there'd be no reason why you couldn't create it. All I want you to do is to discuss your thoughts as to why it should be created on the talk page ... if consensus supports such a split, I'll be there to help you out in creating it. --McDoobAU93 21:14, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Angry birds rio android 3.gif

Thanks for uploading File:Angry birds rio android 3.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:01, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:July 2011 gameInfromer.jpeg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:July 2011 gameInfromer.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 03:37, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

PS

Until you actually have some source besides your intuition or bias against the show (or official word is that the show was renewed or otherwise) the status on PS's page will remain blank. --Newtown11 (talk) 00:32, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Addendum to "PS"

I don't see what you're trying to make by linking me to http://www.toonzone.net/forums/showthread.php?t=283623. Just because CN isn't broadcasting repeats doesn't mean they're canning PS.

Oh and dude, calm down. It's just a show. Nothing at all to go insane over. From now on let's keep this confined to our talk pages, OK? --Newtown11 (talk) 01:19, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

FYI

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Diary of a Wimpy Kid (film series): you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. -FASTILY (TALK) 23:03, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Disneyjrfrance.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.

Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:Th fop logo.png, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 12:25, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Dukey Test

The article Dukey Test has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks multiple reliable third-party sources to establish notability. Fails WP:V and WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Poptropica Islands

Your removal of the islands list from the Poptropica page has caused quite a stir and has decreased the quality of the article. I would ecomend that you replace the Islands section in the Poptropica page, but still keep the List of Poptropica islands page. Sorry if I'm being a wiki-control-freak, but this is very important to me. pluma (talk) 00:04, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Your contributed article, DS line

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, DS line. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Nintendo DS. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Nintendo DS - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. ... discospinster talk 01:29, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
