Not that I'd know how to do. There are some really nifty scripts that some users have written, I'm sure there are users who would be happy to take on the task. How to enlist their help is the problem though.

Sock Puppet

Hi! I was quite disappointed with you accusing me of claiming to be the same person who disagreed on your removal of the links on Earned Value Management. To be honest, I felt really bad about it as these accusations are simply not true. I've seen the edit that you made (removing the external links) shortly after and I didn't quite approve of this edit. To be honest, I waited, out of respect to you, till more at least 2 other people agree that it wasn't a very accurate edit (for lack of better words). Anyways, I don't want to feel offended by my edit. To be honest, this is the first time I know what a sock puppet is, and I was amazed that you already know about this. Anyways, I think you know my point, and if you don't agree that this is a legitimate edit please express your opinion on the talk page of the article itself, no need to accuse someone of adding his own link (like you did on the talk page of the article to the other person) or accusing me of being a sock puppet. I'm just here because I'm interested in Project Management and not to start wars. I appreciate what you're doing and I know that you've done it in good faith, but put yourself in my shoes, wouldn't think that it's a bit offending to accuse someone of something that you most probably think it's not true (or, at the very least, you 're just assuming it's true). Re:Coin Image

First if all, I put that in the image just so that it would look like a face when scaled down. How often do people see it in high resolution, other than if they look at the page of the icon itself? At the size it is normally seen, it is hard to tell its a dog. Look at other icon images, you'll see they do similar things. aido2002^talk 04:27, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Okay, that seems like a much more logical issue to bring up. :) Anyway, while I understand your concern, I have to say I respectfully disagree with you, since the image is such a basic thing, being only used on a stub template, and not even often called attention to. Plus, I think that just because it happens to parody a U.S. coin doesn't mean that we shouldn't use it, because there really is no "generic" coin. I'm going to revert the template back, but if you can find a few others who agree with you, I'll be more than happy to edit the image. aido2002^talk 18:09, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Same here, not sure how to do this. I was adding links to inform about internal company organizations. It is no more promotion than the company article itself. It is not spam. Academic disciplines

I am not aware of any guidelines focusing on articles about academic disciplines. WP:NOT#DIR and WP:NOT#INFO might be relevant as general guidelines, though subject to interpretation.--Palaeovia^talk 01:07, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

The disciplines in List of academic disciplines seem to be mixed as far as having lists of schools or departments in the articles. Mathematical physics has no list of schools, Native American studies does. Silviculture and Interlinguistics don't, Industrial relations does. It would be helpful to have something covering this in Category:Wikipedia content guidelines, I think. Just an idea. Once a general list of schools or departments gets started in one of these articles, it's not clear where WP:NOT#DIR kicks in. --Busy Stubber 14:37, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Disposable/Discretionary income

Well hello there, busy stubber! I'd give you the wiki finger, but I don't know if you've got the warped sense of humor so many others around here seem to have. So I'll settle for: thank you for your feedback. I did not provide an external reference since the point I was making was verified in the text itself. But perhaps there is a flaw in my math, logic, or communication skills... or perhaps more than one of the above. Anyway, I though perhaps that would be acceptable. I refrained from pointing out that a tiered DTI is sometimes used to solve the same problem since that, I think, would require an external source and I was feeling too lazy to cast about for one. I suppose that's a character flaw (since we're talking about me <ha ha>). Anyway, I suppose it will be some work to find since most folks who write are approximately as lazy as I am and stop with defining the ratio and saying something obvious like, lower is better, or keep it under 30 (or whatever number they like or think is in vogue). But as it is a ratio, if I make over $1,000,000 per year, even at 60%, I still have a lot of discretionary income left over, so I probably can pay for that Jeep Cherokee... but if I'm making 28K/yr, I probably will get debt counseling, but not the loan if my DTI is 60%, because my discretionary income is in serious trouble, even if I'm living with Mom... that's why I say, it's a math thing.--Pearrari (talk) 03:23, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Netpay

I'm not sure what to do about this. I'm worried that readers and editors will see "netpay" variations on the internet and look to wiki to figure it all out. Redirect or disambig -- I don't know what's best. Can you help? I'll add what I can, but I do basic stuff okay but not detail sourcing. My edits would be brief -- maybe a source or two. Nothing to really expand the article, just quickly check it. I'm taking a break from Wikipedia under this username. One of my computers crashed with a virus earlier tonight after I logged on. My backup computer might be okay or might not be. Working under a Wikipedia logon name doesn't seem good for computer health. The Mafia comes to mind.
