Izikipa ezibomvu

edit

Hi Bjorn Martiz. You are off to such a great start on the article Izikipa ezibomvu that it may qualify to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page under the Did you know... section. The Main Page gets about 4,000,000 hits per day and appearing on the Main Page may help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created and if you haven't already done so, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. If you do nominate the article for DYK, please cross out the article name on the "Good" articles proposed by bot list. Also, don't forget to keep checking back at Did you know suggestions for comments regarding your nomination. Again, great job on the article. -- Jreferee (Talk) 01:39, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Alice Cherki

edit

A tag has been placed on Alice Cherki, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Tip: moving articles

edit

Hi Bjorn, I noticed that when you created the article on Peter Hallward, you accidently did not capitalize the "h". This is easy to fix (I already took care of it): just click on "move" at the top of the page and enter the correct article name. Cheers, Jacques l'Aumône (talk) 18:25, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of "Mehdi Belhaj Kacem"

edit

A page you created, Mehdi Belhaj Kacem, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thanks. Sceptre (talk) 13:27, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mehdi Belhaj Kacem

edit

Hi there, did you copy Mehdi Belhaj Kacem directly from the google translation of the French Wikipedia article? The translation contains a lot of extra markup, making it very difficult to read, so in future, could you just use the translation to actually write out the article? Also, if you try and put in, from the start, why the subject is important, you will avoid people tagging articles for speedy deletion not long after you have created them. Let me know if you need any help.--BelovedFreak 15:23, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (File:Abahlali baseMjondolo logo.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Abahlali baseMjondolo logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. FileBot (talk) 09:11, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Mastaneh Shah-Shuja

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mastaneh Shah-Shuja requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ♠PMC(talk) 19:41, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
