License tagging for Image:K-boatatSunset.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:K-boatatSunset.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:07, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

There's been a long discussion about whether or not to include the kid's name in the article. The consensus has been to omit it per our policy on biographies of living persons. Take a look at the talk page if you care to see the reasoning. AzureFury (talk | contribs) 03:29, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Re: Star Trek VI sources
editI've reverted you once again. The article is featured, which means all its sources must be high-quality and reliable per Wikipedia:Reliable Sources (WP:RS for short). Things like video listings, databases, and IMDB trivia (which are fan-submitted) do not qualify. I strongly suggest you read the RS page to avoid further reversions. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Guidance
editI see you are using a source "Lawtin" but I do not see enough information that someone could find that source. What you can do is add another section titled Bibliography (or Sources) to provide the detailed source information similar to Further reading. See Inuit clothing for an example, although that is monster it gives you an idea. The Further reading section seems to be largely about NY state law, rather than Rochester so not sure it is useful. I think the battle you have is all cities have courts so standard things that is applicable to any court is not useful from a notability perspective. The history likely the most promising from that perspective if secondary reliable source have written about it in-depth. S0091 (talk) 21:46, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
- Also, I have removed some content now both from the draft and the draft's talk page. Wikipedia's biography of living people policy is taken very seriously thus my removals and applies to all pages given everything is publicly accessible, even this page. S0091 (talk) 21:55, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks! Maybe I didn't understand the policy -- it seems to me that it applied only when there was no conviction/judgment yet. Bjengles3 (talk) 14:11, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
- Technically that is correct but based on experience, editors will generally favor privacy for a non-notable person. Given the material likely will not impact a reader's understanding of the subject, best to be cautious. If the article is accepted and you think the material is warranted, you can post a note at WP:BLPN to get other opinions. Also, the Teahouse is a great place for general questions about editing.
