Speedy deletion nomination of Ammar Campa-Najjar edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ammar Campa-Najjar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi! B P G PhD, just as a quick note, I wouldn't worry about the PhD in your username. It shouldn't be a problem. - Bilby (talk) 10:22, 21 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, B P G PhD. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Ammar Campa-Najjar, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. I asked you several questions at the AfD for the above named article. You have not responded. Unless you answer those questions prior to editing on the above subject again, I am going to be asking that you be blocked for WP:UPE, which is a violation of Wikipedia's legally binding WP:TOU. August 2018 edit

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Ammar Campa-Najjar. You are editing against the consensus formed at the last AfD. It is totally irrelevant what new sources you have; until you use those new sources as a basis for discussion and you are able to form a new consensus, your changes are a serious disruptive policy violation. Undeletion process edit

Hi, I notice that you are trying to recreate an article that has been deleted per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ammar Campa-Najjar (2nd nomination), please discuss at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion before reintroducing it. Once there's been a consensus to delete an article, it may not be reintroduced without discussion. -- Luk talk 07:20, 22 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

I have blocked you for 24 hours because you have disregarded all the advice and warnings you have been given here, and have continued to try to use Wikipedia to promote Mr. Ammar Campa-Najjar. This time you re-added his name to the lead sentence in the article Duncan D. Hunter, even though it has been removed before. This is promotional and is getting disruptive. Mr. Campa-Najjar is mentioned in the article text; he is NOT to be mentioned in the lede sentence or anywhere else in the article, per usual Wikipedia practice, re-affirmed at the article's talk page. This block is a warning. If you continue to promote this person you will be blocked from editing indefinitely. --MelanieN (talk) 21:26, 25 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Administrators' Noticeboard edit

This is to let you know that I have filed a report at the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard about you and your editing here. You are welcome to comment there. Here is a link to the report. -- MelanieN (talk) 23:57, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

February 2019 edit

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bishonen | talk 21:54, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
